LOVE THIS FOUNTAIN! RUNS ALMOST ALL THE TIME!
I have bought several solar fountains over the past year or so. Yes they do need frequent replacement but most of them only run fully when in the direct sun. They will run a little when in the shade and very sporadic when there is no sun and at night nothing! BUT this one RUNS in the shade, on cloudy days AND AT NIGHT!! Love the lights at night and the calming sound of the water drops at night. I will probably buy another with different color lights!

Really cute
We first thought of a solar fountain as a replacement for a plant which had died.A fountain which only is a fountain seemed too complicated and prone to breaking. We then thought a birdbath would be nice, and reliable, but then saw this. We bought this as something to add to the birdbath.Once we figured out what the straws were for, assembly was very easy. the instructions are not so good, with bad grammar, but we figured it out.Upon adding water, the fountain worked right away. With the lighting, it looked really cute at night. It has multiple spray nozzles to try and a few replacement filters. We will see if it works more than a few weeks, but are happy so far.At 29.99, it is middle of the road, but cheap for a light-up fountain. We wanted something that would light up, and which has generally good reviews. The quality seems good, so far. The lighting is good, and not obnoxious. I expect cleaning will be easy, if it lasts long enough to clean. If it breaks, we still have a birdbath, or can get a cheap replacement fountain. I dropped it once today when cleaning it out and it still works.Update: stopped working after 2 days. Minus 1 star.

Very Colorful
Nice fountain! Sprays 6-8 inches up with the wide nozzle. Very colorful at night.

Worked right away even when it was snowing, pretty at night.
The media could not be loaded. Worked right away, even though it was cloudy/snowing. When the clouds parted a little bit, the fountain sprayed a little higher. I have a hummingbird feeder right above the bird bath, and a hummingbird swooped in on it for a closer look. It’s pretty at night too. I am pleased with this purchase. I hope it lasts!

Ok water fountain
Easy to put together, size was perfect for what I am using it for. I just wish it was like other solar products where the battery charges and will last until it no longer has power unless the sun charges it more. You have to have sun on it at all times it seems like I have put it in direct sun for a day thinking it needed a charge first. But not the case it functions while the sun hits it but once’s it dark it no longer works so the lights to me are pretty useless since it doesn’t work at night but during the day it looks great!

Doesn’t work like the pictures
We bought two of these and set them into two of our large volume birdbaths. The solar portion worked well. But only two of the nozzles had an acceptable pattern. But they only sprayed water about 9”-12” high. We go through 40 - 50 lbs of birdseed EVERY month year round….so we have lots of different types of singing birds. We were shocked that after 3-4 weeks no birds used this for a shower. I even cut some clean wood to float so they could stand on it to shower….but they all wanted no part of them. Instead they just occasionaly washed up on the edges of the same birdbaths. So money and efforts wasted.
