My cat ruined the fabric less than a day.

I noticed my cat wasn't choosing to stand on the platforms covered by the white padding. I removed the white pads and suddenly the cat discovered better purchase standing on those platforms. Problem solved. Additionally, I put those pads into the box enclosure and later discovered that the cat had arranged the pads to his liking as one might do with pillows. He likes to sit forward in the enclosure, comfortably resting against the cutout. This cat tree is well-designed, easy to put together, has extra parts for most pieces, and is very sturdy. Unlike some mostly carpeted cat trees, this model is less likely to look shabby over time with usual cat wear and tear.

Our older large cat loves this 2 tier tree. We love to see him use every part of it. It’s affordable and so easy to put together. The top seat is so large that he fits in it comfortably and he curls up on the soft pillow. The two houses meet his security comfort needs. I like how he can easily access the top seat. Also the structure is solid and sturdy. Lastly, it’s a beautiful color !

Took about an hour as a single person to assemble without power tools, made one or two mistakes that were easily corrected. The fur pads are velcroed on which is nice in theory but they're stuck on with a sort of sticky backing so I'd hesitate to wash them in a machine if dirty. Is the perfect height, my youngest cat loves the top perch. Pretty sturdy even for a high energy jumper. Love that it isn't an eyesore and was a great price.
