These Jewlers Loups are perfect for seeing every, and I mean every detail in anything you use them for.I personally use them for checking my CNC lathe inserts to make sure the cutting tip is still viable. We machine in the fourth digit at smallest. Perspective: A sheet of paper - 0.003". My tolerance is as small as +/- 0.00025"Yikes!With the 30x and 60x magnification, I can clearly see deviations of the cutting tip on my inserts.I haven't used the 90x magnifier personally, but I know that it works great. I looked at my fingerprint just to test it out and I could see micro cuts from machining that I would never have known were there!Just imagine using 90x on the diamond you are about to get for your sweetheart....just sayin'.If you are a hobbyist Jeweler, Gemologist, or just like looking at tiny things without the cost of an expensive microscope, then this set is for you.Easy to hold, and the 30, 60x Loupes fold into a nice Metal sheathe for safe storage. Also, they all have well-designed cloth bags to store them in.The lights are bright and have just the right angle to let you see clearly at any angle.Great product. Great price. Worth the money great priduct

These are really helpful for seeing details of rocks (crystals, veining for agates, etc) and I appreciate having them, but I do get headaches and eye aches after using them for an extended time. They need to be held up real close to the eye. The light and higher mag lens are not very helpful, though. They seem to be well made. I've used them only recently - maybe a total of 10 hours. I like that the two triangularly shaped magnifiers fold and have a storage bag. I keep one in the car so that when I find an interesting rock when I'm out in the world in my car, I have a magnifier with me. The other is in my house. The black light has helped me see some really interesting fluorescent crystals in rocks. I like that the black light on it automatically shuts off when the lens is retracted into the case. Definitely a good purchase. My brother (professional geologist) was impressed with them.

I would prefer an eye loop, but this does work. I could see the inscribed numbers on my diamond ring.

I mean, they are alright I guess. They are average and I’m giving them a slightly above average score because you get 3 for 15$. I read reviews raving of the build quality but they feel like cheap Chinese plastic. One of them doesn’t stay closed and just flops around. The sliding one (which I was most excited for) has the worst build quality of the lot. They do there job well, just do not think you can throw them around and they won’t break. For the price you’re getting a decent value, but do not expect much in terms of “high quality”.

Haven't had the chance tonyrulynuse yet, but materials are sturdy, nothing flimsy or broken.Primarily bought to examine crystals and minerals. Brightness and magnification seem great for the price. Bonus that it was a 3 pack item.
