I have a 12 year old, 80 lb. yellow lab, Chowder, who has arthritis in his back legs. I've been looking for a supplement that I can give outside of his Rimadyl which can be hard on his system overall. I was excited that there was a Chondriotin and Glucosamine product with some natural pain relief. Chowder has only been on this product for about a week or so, but I do notice some subtle differences already. He gets a few more spry moments galloping to the door and moves a bit more steady. I will say that I also feed Chowder Nulo Grain Free Senior Dog Food With Glucosamine And Chondroitin, which also has helped considerably. Chowder has been on the Nulo for several months which showed improvement from previous foods. However, he seems even more comfortable since taking these as well. I've stopped giving him Rimadyl since getting this and will only give that to him if he shows signs of extreme discomfort.The little nuggets are about the size of a medium sized dog treat. They are a softer chew but not squishy like some of the pill pockets. Based on his weight and the recommendation, I started him with 3 little nuggets on the 1st day. I ended up backing that off to 2 nuggets as he fell asleep shortly after the 3 nuggets day. The 2 nuggets seems to work perfectly. I was also super happy that this hasn't upset his system since giving him these. There's been no upset tummy, itching or other side effects that you can sometimes see with supplements.As anyone with a lab knows, there is not such thing as a food a lab won't scarf down. He did initially hesitate taking this after sniffing it. I just tucked it back over to him and he gobbled it up. Now when he sees me grab the container, he's right there and takes it without sniffing. I think it was just the initial smell of the hemp, which he's never been around before. It doesn't have a hemp smell to me, but I think he picked up a bit of a smell that was something different then what he's known before.I've tried various types of supplements and this option provides the best bang for your buck in terms of number of nuggets. With me giving him 2 nuggets a day, that container should last me about 45 days or so. I was previously using an item that sold for $70 and was only a month supply. I've also tried several powder additives to his food and I don't see any improvement for him. I've been really happy with this one so far. I like that it's Chowder friendly while still pocket book friendly too.I also love that this is an American made product so I know the quality of ingredients is at a human grade level. Some of the other similar products aren't not able to verify that.If you have a pup who needs a little extra TLC, I would definitely recommend this product.

Product seemed to start working within days after use. She is able to move better and is much happier.

Reduces joint pain and has a great taste and is easy for my 15 year old dog to eat.

I have a 60 lb Pitbull and I have been giving her these treats for the last 6 months and they seem to work just fine. I recommend this product if you have a Pitbull.

My dogs love these and it really helps the older one with his hips. Calming effect.

Too early to say how these are for my Maggie. Maggie is a 14 year old Rhodesian mix with mobility and pain issues on her rear legs. I’ll update my rating in a few more months. She does not like the bacon flavor much so have to dip it in some peanut butter or wrap some lunch meat.

Have a friend who teaches Vet Techs and saw my 11-yo pup limping. Suggested glucosamine and getting an anti-inflammatory. Honestly the tabs smell bad but the pup loves them - and what a difference after only a couple of weeks. Definitely a quality of life improvement for her, acting half her age.

I have waited a few months to write this review. I’m glad I gave the product time to work … or not. My 11 year old dog had developed a limp in her left back leg. After being on Strella Lab senior formula, her limp is gone and she’s her normal energetic self again. I’m happy that my dog is happy!

I bought this product for my senior English golden retriever as she was experiencing some difficulties and getting up walking and attempting stairs. I purchased this product and I give it to her every day and it has done wonders for her ability to move around the house get up and navigate the stairs. It is an amazing product and I highly recommend.

My dog loves it and I have noticed improvements in mobility.

When my large breed dog celebrated her 9th birthday, we noticed she would have days where climbing and descending the stairs were painful. She would even struggle to jump onto the bed or into the car. Then we noticed her “wet fur shake” was weak and slower than usual. After doing some research, I settled on these joint supplement treats. She gets 3 per day for her 60 lbs of weight, and after about a week, I noticed a fresh, vibrant skip in her step. She was racing up and down the stairs, running in the yard, jumping for her ball… all the activities she had slowly abandoned over the previous year.All was well till she ate something she shouldn’t have, and we had to put her on a prescription diet for 3-4 days. I thought it best to stop the supplements till her tummy troubles passed but after 2 days off the supplements, she was showing signs of joint pain again. As soon as I was allowed to put her back on her regular food I restarted the supplements, and 4 days later, she was active again. Maybe it was just coincidence but I don’t want her to stop these joint supplements again. She’s on her second jar and they are worth every penny for my sweet senior dog.

We have XL breed Bernese Mountain dogs, and one of them is turning 6, which is senior for a Bernese. He takes 5 of these/day, based on his XL size, and we see a noticeable difference when he does not take the supplement. It definitely helps with his movement, stiffness and flexibility. We are happy with these.

Marco, (napping at a friend's house in Montana) a rescue I got back in 2011, looks forward to these every day. He was about a year or so old when I got him and when we moved in 2013 it was to a two story house. He's a Black Lab/Corgi mix, and over the years he began to find climbing the stairs a challenge. I tried glucosamine and it helped his hips and joints somewhat, but he was still slow. So... I tried this after reading about it. He has the bacon ones, and they actually kinda smell like bacon. It didn't take long for this old boy to feel the improvement. He now moves more like he wants, and has energy. Still loves his naps, though. This is something he enjoys and it has improved his quality of life. Thanks to all who recommended this.
