I bought my original pair about 5 years ago. I had to buy a second pair last month.Of the original pair, one of the straps that hold the pad to the arm broke. Let me be clear: I do not blame the product for this. This chair is used for both my work-from-home day, and my personal-pc day. I work between 8 to 14 hours a day, and I blow off a lot of steam with Fallout 4. I'm pretty sure this can be considered 'beyond scope of normal use.'The other pad, one of the seams split on the outer edge of the top of the pad. It was small at first (maybe 1 inch), but it's been steadily growing over a year (maybe 2 1/2 inches as I write this). It's not hurting anything. Still completely functional. Aesthetically? It's not perfect, but hey, maybe it'll give me some gaming cred. Who knows?So I replaced the pad with the broken strap, and I have the other pad in reserve for when the rip in the other pad renders that pad unusable. I must stress: These pads performed admirably given the conditions they were put under. For that reason, the replacement pads I bought were the exact same pads.Thanks to the straps, these pads are held securely in place. The mesh tops don't feel slippery, but they also don't feel like they dig into my arms/ elbows.They are super comfortable. The arm-rests that came with my chair aren't super uncomfortable, but because I spend a lot of time in this chair during the week. I needed a bit of extra padding. These pads are insanely comfortable extra padding.So, if you have a gaming chair and want some extra padding, these work insanely better than the slip-on gel pads that I've also tried, and which don't really last as long.

I use these for my left elbow on my office chair at home. I ordered it because I noticed that I tend to lean on my left side. At this point, the pains associated with pushing my elbow into my chair arm are gone. The numbness in my left hand is also mostly gone. Seems to me like a win. They last a long time. I am in this chair most days for 10 hours, working. I feel like one pack of two lasted me several years. Eventually, you will wear into the gel, and that's when it's time to replace it. It's downhill from there. Still, great value and super functional. Fits my "big man" chair just fine, with slack left over.

I just want to get some armrest that were softer than my current ones, but these turned out to be better.They are extremely comfortable, & contour to your arm without making a lasting impression. Kinda Stiff-Yet-Soft sort of effect like Memory Foam, but without the Memory part.Don't know if everyone will like this, but I like how they add about 2'-3' inches of height to your armrest. It just feels more natural for my arms to be resting higher than lower.Wish I could give it a 4.5, but the only problem I have is feel of the Mesh, it just itches around the seams. The velvet version probably feels better, but I bought the Mesh because it just looked cooler!

I used one of these on the inside of my patrol car. SOOOOO worth it, especially if you’re consistently resting your elbow on cheap American plastic interiors.

These work to fit around my chairs very poorly designed armrests by providing me with a bit of cushion for my bony elbows. They however are quite rough, if not abrasive to the skin and can leave your elbows like skinned knees after a fall if your elbows ever do slip off off the armrests. That isn't a fault of these though, but the chair manufacture of my current chair. Do these have a "Cooling effect", it wasn't why I purchased them and no, they do not have a cooling effect. Do they keep my arms from being sore by the cheap plastic of my chair's manufacture and gives me extra padding for resting my arms as I work? YES and a THOUSAND TIMES YES.

These are perfect. I was in between 2 products and I went with another which was dissatisfying. These are phenomenal, so supportive and very comfortable. Velcro straps secured to my chair arms perfectly. Very well made.

Wow! This is the perfect item if you spend a lot of time in an office chair whether it’s for work or gaming. No more sore elbows for me.
