Cameron's Coffee Roasted Ground Coffee Bag, Intense French, 28 Ounce

Yummy! The best French Roast I have ever tasted. I loved the regular French Roast but I was curious. The Intense French is so much smoother. Yummiest ever.

This is good coffee. It is not as "deeply" rich as I thought for a French or "Intense" roast unless you make it right on the edge of being too strong. Every time I brew a batch, I have to remind myself to add a little bit extra so I get the right depth of flavor. I'm not sorry I tried it, but it won't be on my Tops list.

I originally ordered the French Roast and was very disappointed. Tasted like a cheap medium roast, no hint of a dark smokiness. The next time I needed to order coffee, this Intense French popped up. I figured the price was good enough to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! It's exactly what you'd expect from a bean calling itself French. I'm not sure why they keep producing their other "French" roast, the beans are not even dark. This, however, is just right.

Inconsistent grind clogged the paper filter causing automatic coffeemaker to overflow.
