It fits perfect in your breast pocket, which is nice when you work in the field. The green color is nice but will fade as it gets wet or sweaty depending on your carry situation. The pages are water proof and pens write nicely on the pages. No issues with ink bleeding through but I do not recommend anything that is gel based in on these pages as that can smear if it doesn't dry before you close it. For daily, field use, I recommend this. Review: Excellent - Excellent, use it everyday working civil construction and it gets beat up. Has fallen in rivers and seems untouched. Would recommend using pencil as you don't have to let the ink dry and it won't smear if you fail to use water resistant ink. I did have a smear issue, but that was from the wrong ink. Again, use pencil and water does nothing to your notes.

Indestructible is a bold claim
I got these because I have an uncanny ability to destroy my field notebooks. Whether it's wear, water, or my general stupidity, every single pocket notebook I've used has suffered an ignoble death. Then these notebooks entered my life. They're harder to kill than a succulent and tougher than a bucket of rottweiler. Plus, they come in an array of fashionable colors. But are they... indestructible? Tentatively, I have to say that they are. At least, assuming that you're not actively trying to destroy it (it has no natural defenses against blades, for example). The paper isn't even paper! It's some weird plastic-ish material that takes ink and pencil astonishingly well (yes, even underwater - of course I tested). It feels... wrong to write on, but works so right. Except for gel ink, though, because gel ink doesn't stick to anything, ever. I have noticed that new ink will tend to transfer to the next page a bit when it's closed, but it somehow doesn't smear. Unlike literally every staple-bound notebook I've ever used, the pages in these are solidly anchored. The not-paper is tearproof, so the pages won't come out unless you want them to. And for much the same reason, the cover won't tear off. I'm sure that it will burn and/or melt at high enough temperatures, but that was outside the scope of my testing. They're perfectly sized to fit in your back pocket. And thin enough that you'll forget it's there. I have found myself wishing for more pages, but I think that might contradict with the 'super thin' quality. If your field notebooks tend to meet an early and unexpected demise, this is absolutely the product for you. Like: + Seems pretty indestructible + Holds ink & pencil pretty well + Performs all duties of a notebook admirably well + The bright orange one is impossible to lose + Perfectly sized for a back pocket No Like: - Ink will sometimes transfer to facing page when closed - Would like more pages - Probably would not survive the heat of reentry unprotected Verdict: why aren't they in your cart yet? Stop reading and GO.

Good material and easy to use
These books are durable and don’t rip easy. They are easy to carry and use anywhere.

Tough little notebook
I use the notebook at work and keep it in my back pocket. Fits perfectly in a pocket and holds up to the sitting, standing, walking, sitting, repeat kind of wear and tear. Only criticism is the type of pen you use matters. I like a fountain pen and this paper is not for that kind of ink, and gel pens can take a bit to dry as well. Regular ball point pens work perfectly. The other inks smudge easily and take too long to dry. But as a tool to take and keep quick notes, it's a great notebook.

Great notebook.
48 pages of smooth/slippery paper. Best to use a fine point ballpoint pen or 0.7 or larger mechanical pencil. Avoid using gel ink pens since they will not dry; they were still wet and smeared even 5 to 10 minutes later. Good, strong paper that is very difficult to tear; just stretches when you try. An alcohol pad will erase ink (except for the uniball waterproof pen), but out leaves a shadow of the ink behind. Pencil erases, but works better with the larger lead size. Water just runs off the paper. It does not soak in. The water partially washed away the Precise V5 RT ink and the Uniball Vision ink. The rest of the inks and the pencil remained. Overall, great product when used with the correct writing tools. I would buy it again.

Great book
I purchased this is October of 2022, it's now July 2023. I work in engine rooms, typically around 120 to 135 degree hear. Sweat alot, I usually carry the book in My back pocket or pants leg pocket. It really is indestructible, I've also used it in a light rain outside. The pages are not torn or worn down. I am definitely buying more of these.

It's flimsy. A hard back would be nice. The pages are water resistant but pick the right pen. They're thin and ink seeps through.
