I chose a replacement and it was in my hands within 3 days. The new one works great. Gets the oven up to temp, and cooks a pizza within 90 seconds for a thin crust. Don't overload your pizza with toppings. Try Roberta's pizza dough recipe in the web.(Old review) Installed easily. I like the flame diverter. However, after ignition, it would only stay lit if you held the knob in. My husband tested the thermocouple and it was dead on arrival.

This will not stay lit. Gas flow randomly cuts out.

Components are a mix of plastic knob and lightly built regulator, but appears high quality valve Components.Preheated 20 minutes. Stone reached 725 on edge, and 750 in middle, with door closed.Fits Big Horn pellet oven.I never tried the pellets, bought oven and conversion kit before seeing that big horn sells a gas model (cheaper than going this route of oven and separate gas control).It seems to do what it says. I can't say anything negative, seems like a good value if doing a conversion from pellet to gas.Unlike every other review on this item, I didn't receive any free-bees to review. This is my honest review.

This fit perfectly into my oven and did a great job cooking pizzas in my Ooni Karu 12. Once it was lit. The igniter only worked correctly once, and then it didn't work reliably. I had to light the gas with a stick lighter, which did the job fine. But I just used a friend's Ooni that had the OEM gas burner, and it lit reliably with the built in igniter every time without fail.

Great addition to an Ooni pizza oven. You won't get the same results as using wood or charcoal but that's to be expected.
