I struggled to find extra wide shoes given a bunion. These are comfortable and not oversized. I can use them for long flights or the gym. Make sure to measure the length and width of your foot and compare to the size guide in cm or inches. Value for money is great. No pain. And, comfortable - oh I already wrote that.

Good wide fit trainers but not the best looking I have ever seen, didn't like look at all so returned them. Having said that very comfortable.

Great Build quality, waterproof works well, more space in the toe area. Best one for long walks. Affordable.

The is my second purchase of the Fitville trainers they are top quality and value for money. They look good aswell and you can get a good choice of sizes i have to have a larger size after fracturing the ankle as the foot is wider now with all the metal work in it. So the half sizes and the XX- Wide sizes are perfect for me. The have a good sole to them with good grip and they feel very comfortable whilst walking

The positives: They are wide enough for my 6E size 9 feet, and remarkably light weight. The negatives: The shoes look cheap. If they were priced at £25 I might not mind, but that's what they look like; not £50. The materials *are* cheap. Just because they are using 'EVA' as a selling point doesn't make it a suitable material for the whole sole unit. It's cheap, moulded, expanding foam; the same as is used in insoles (where it is appropriate) and cheap yoga mats etc. No way is it durable for this application. Inside, you really need to wear socks because the material is coarse and will cause rubbing otherwise. Lacing is quite awkward. The (very cheap and almost too short) laces rub tightly against the fabric holes and are a real pain to adjust, and you need to fully loosen them to the point of almost losing the ends to get your foot in. Then have to try to get them all tight again. I get the impression that the laces will start to cut into the holes quickly. I would have put up with all of that, because all I want is some trainers for the gym, however the shape is odd too. While the toe box is large enough, the shoe is too straight so my big toes still rub hard against the side, while my little toes have adequate room to move. I think the shoe is designed more for *swollen* feet (many 'wide fitting' shoes in the UK are), rather than a naturally broad foot. Hence the lack of proper shaping. I need to tighten the very top as much as I can or it's too loose at my ankle. The bottom line: Not worth £50 unless you really need them for swollen feet (medical issues, whatever) in which case you don't have much choice. I've tried shoes from a UK company that advertises wide fittings, at double the price, and they were no better for fit (again, the swollen feet vs. broad feet thing I think) although made from much better materials. Probably they are fine for light use in such cases, but not for me in the gym.
