Is the flour supposed to have little black things in it? I'm use to Pearl Milling company where the pancake mix is a plain white color

The mix has naturally occurring dark specks and flecks from the natural almonds and organic coconut sugar. We use all natural ingredients and don't bleach or artificially color our mixes, so it is common to see naturally occurring color varation.

Can you use this to make other baked things...like onion rings?
