Makes a great Linux Mint laptop.
I stopped using other operating systems ten years ago. Most smaller, less costly laptops like this don't usually run Windows well but this one does great with Linux Mint. There are many youtube videos on how to convert a computer to Linux. I set this one up for my wife whose 10 year old Macbook started failing.

Great laptop for office or school
My sister was very pleased with this laptop, it’s fast, durability is better than her previous laptop, and it was affordable.

Great for School Work!
I bought the HP icore i3 lap top for the beginning of college. I have used it for quite a few months now and it still does everything I need. It connects to Wi-Fi quickly and loads quickly as well. I have experience some lagging however it has not been enough to make me frustrated with the lap top. I have not experienced any over heating and this is my first laptop to actually hold a charge for quite awhile. If you’re needing this lap top for school I would definitely recommend and I believe it is worth it’s value. The microphone and camera work well for a lap top and as long as windows S is disabled you are able to print things, use lock down browser and download an apps you may need. However, once you disable windows S you can not restore it so that can be a down side.

Durable
Got this with much trepidation for a twelve year old boy who is not known for his responsible side but the cost was very low on Black Friday so I took a chance. Have not been disappointed. No damage even after three months, battery lasts a long time, it accesses all the games and movies and school apps my son wants to use, and it was easy enough to set up that he could do it himself.

Great price for a laptop for my daughter
My daughter needed a laptop that she could use for going to college. The screen quality on this is excellent and the laptop is light enough to where it is not uncomfortable for her to take it back and forth. The laptop seems to be very responsive as she's using it and seems to have good speed. I feel like I got great value for my money.

It gets the job done for the price.
If you need to do work like researching things and saving a few work related things it works well. If you want a gaming computer or need to download a ton of things, you're better off paying more money for another laptop. I would honestly say that for the price, the value of this computer exceeded my expectations, although I bought it around prime deal days. I'm not sure what what regular price was.

Does it's job but it's very basic
It's been a while since I bought a personal laptop, and am apparently spoiled by the enterprise ones. This one does not have a touch screen, I honestly didn't know they even made them like that anymore. Same for keys that aren't backlit. And I've been very disappointed to find out that it isn't compatible with any USB dock hubs. To connect to an external monitor you need to plug the HDMI in directly. If you're hoping for a second external monitor, that will require an adapter to use one of the USB3. You are now down to one remaining USB3 for a keyboard or mouse. The USBc does not support power delivery and I'm not even sure why it's there. The computer does its job. But you cannot connect it easily to a larger set up and forget that it's a lightweight cheap-out option.

Worked as advertised. 8GB is minimum for Windows but ok generally.
Installation we ok, normal grief for MS Windows. It took multiple tries to get rid of the "safe" stuff so that non MS apps can be installed but it eventually did work. (Plenty of tutorials on line). This is thin-ish and light weight so perfect for occasional travel. With an SSD it has almost no moving parts so should be rugged enough. Keyboard and screen seem fine for occasional use. The screen is not large nor is there a 10 key numeric keypad but adding those increases size, weight and cost. Always had good luck with HP.I investigated adding 8GB more memory. That requires some scarey disassembly so...no.
