Okay so I bought this to pair with the Maybelline Sky High Waterproof Mascara, and I didn’t expect to love it this much. I was just hoping for a little fun sparkle on my lashes, but it actually turned out way better than I thought.Here’s what I learned while playing around with it. If you use it like regular mascara and just comb it through your lashes, it gives you a really subtle shimmer. It’s pretty, especially during the day or if you want something low-key. But if you want that glitter to actually show up, the trick is to press the wand gently against your lashes instead of brushing it through. I know it sounds a little weird, but it makes a huge difference. Just kind of press and blink, then press again, and suddenly your lashes look like they were kissed by fairy dust.Also, let each coat dry before going in with more. Same goes for your base mascara if you're layering it. I didn’t wait the first time and it got a little messy. Now I take my time and it applies so much better.The sparkle shows up the most in direct light. Like, if you shine your phone flashlight or catch sunlight just right, you can really see it twinkle. In regular daylight you can still see it, it’s just a lot softer. So it depends on the lighting, but I love that you can kind of choose how bold or subtle it looks.I seriously had so much fun trying this out and now I’m obsessed. Definitely recommend pairing it with your favorite mascara, but on it's own, it's cute too. It make my lashes look so pretty, and it just makes me feel extra cute.

Wow! I just love this burgundy haze mascara. You really can’t tell when you’re putting it on that. It is a different color, but it makes my hazel eyes pop out so well. It really brings out the green in them. I didn’t have any flaking or smudging all day long and I actually accidentally fell asleep in my makeup and woke up the next morning and it was still perfect. It does not go on super thick, but it is buildable. I have pretty oily eyelids and I have been working all day long and there are no smudges or flaking. I went and bought two more of these to make sure I have them in case they stop making them because they always stop making everything I love!

The Maybelline Sky High mascara line is a great product. I come back to it every couple of mascara cycles. My favorite is actually the primer - it's a super buildable, non-smudge TINTED formula (I can never get the white to fully disappear with traditional white primers) that can easily double as mascara with 2 or more layers (perfect for travel). Much better value than my other go-to primer which costs $26I recently got the Sky High mascara in burgundy, after not buying this line in a while, not to mention not using anything but black or brown mascara since the early 00s. I'm still really impressed with the formula and the burgundy is perfect for making my green eyes pop.

There is no question that this is good mascara. I have this in a few different shades, and I’m experimenting with which color I like best. It goes on beautifully and comes off really nicely, as well. That is a real plus. What I’m not sure about is how sometimes it just feels like a lot on my eyes. Even if you try to apply lightly, it can feel pretty wet and dark. I might just still be trying to apply correctly so, again, I’m experimenting with different shades. I am really liking the cosmic black, which comes in the black tube, so that might be making a difference as the consistency seems to feel a little bit different. But I really do like how all of these can be removed so easily because they are tubing mascaras. Definitely a nice mascara line and great value for money!

This mascara is great and works better than a nearly $40 Lancôme mascara that I recently purchased. I’d been getting lash extensions for years and recently decided to give my lashes a break and switch back to regular mascara. I wanted something that would give me a lot of length and separation as my lashes are very fine and lack volume. I purchased a very expensive Lancôme mascara as I’d always had good luck with them. Well, after maybe 5 uses, the Lancôme wand snapped in two pieces and I was unable to use the rest of the product. I was mad and didn’t want to spend another small fortune to replace it, so i started looking for a cheaper option. That’s where this one came in. And oh my god! It works even better than the Lancôme. I’m dead serious. No clumping, so much length and so much separation! The application is easy and mess free and I’ve found that there’s been pretty much no smudging or transferring even when I get sweaty. I hope this mascara is around for a long time because it truly works better than almost every luxury brand that I’ve tried. I’ll continue to purchase as long as it’s being made.

finally, a mascara i can wear!! i have multiple issues with my eyes that caused me to have to stop wearing mascara years ago. i tried products that were supposed to be more gentle, less flaky, clumpy, etc, but all of them aggravated my conditions; they smeared and flaked into my eyes and were miserable to wear. this mascara has a “lighter”, smoother, easy to apply texture and DID NOT SMEAR under my eyes or flake or clump into my eyes. i wore it all day without any problems and it was so comfortable to my eyes that i even forgot it was on. it looks very natural, which is a plus. i am so happy with this purchase!
