This Travel Brush Set has 5 brushes and a pouch that can that makes easy to carry in my purse or for when I travel. The brushes anlre non shedding and feel soft on skin and I like that the pouch has a zipper and can stand. The price is a little higher that ai would go for, but if youbare looking for a cute and good quality set this is a good choice.

Everything About These Brushes Says “Quality”
All five brushes have gray glossy enamel coated wood handles and incredibly soft, dense faux sable bristles held firmly in place by matte black aluminum heads. The photo of the zippered travel bag that doubles as a standing brush holder doesn’t do it justice. The black and gray/white marbled fabric bag is about 9 ½” x 3 ½” x 2 ½” and holds all the brushes plus whatever powder or liquid makeup you might need while traveling. It becomes an attractive, solid black, standing brush holder to leave on your counter top after you fold the marbled half down to expose its black interior. The holder is very stable, stands about 7” high, and is tall enough that the brushes don’t stick out over the top but are still easy to reach. There is a brush for almost every purpose except for eye and lip liner. They worked well with loose and pressed powder, blusher and eye shadow, but I prefer to put liquid makeup on with my fingers. Following the instructions on the box, I washed the largest brush with a bit of undiluted baby shampoo, rinsed with warm water, wrapped it in a washcloth (my idea), squeezed out the extra water, gently reshaped the head, and laid it flat on a hand towel to dry. It was still a little damp in the morning, but I turned it over and put it on a dry towel. It was ready to use again by the evening and looked like new.

Great quality brushes
The media could not be loaded. These brushes are very soft and comfortable to hold. They have unique shapes to them compared to the other brushes in my large collection. The hairs are so soft and very dens. They are not too dens to the point where they are tugging on my skin a lot when trying to blend out products. Blending out my cream products is very easy and can effortlessly be done with these brushes. So far for the little bit of time that I've had these there has been no shedding. I plan to use these brushes on myself only because the handles are made from wood which provides a place for bacteria to hide. I do really like these brushes. I can use just one brush to apply many things. The case is very convenient and can stand up on its own. Its material is sturdy and can be wiped clean. The brushes are very good I was done with my makeup in no time. In my opinion this is a pretty good value. I own well known brands in my collection of brushes that aren't as good as these are.

Poor packaging, good product
For something in this price range, I would absolutely expect some standard of care to be exercised in the packaging, however this arrived in a box that was ripped open already as shown in the picture. That was how the box arrived, everything just kind of fell out of the bag, which had already been unzipped and one of the brushes was loose from the cardboard that was holding the others in place. The bag it came in is flimsy, thin, and for brushes worth this much, it seems rather careless to package them in this way. This reflects in the bristles themselves, which were all dusty upon arrival and had little lint balls on them, again, as shown in the pictures. The handles seem sturdy enough and didn't get harmed in the cleaning process that followed after I received them. Fortunately, there was no excessive loss of bristles in that process either. There are a total of 5 brushes included, two thicker ones for broader/overall application, such as foundation or blush and 3 smaller ones for precision application, for areas such as the eyes or eyebrows. After the second cleaning, the makeup I used does come right off the brushes fairly easily using some basic brush cleaner, and they look better than when I got them.Overall, it's a good product, but the bag it comes with is pretty lacking for storage.

Beautiful brushes
These are very nice and thus far are not bleeding bristles on me.The envelope storage type case that they come in is rather large and thick --I am not so fond of this storage case, and it is much taller than the brushes, so it takes up extra room when it is not necessary. I prefer for brushes something like an elastic-holding roll type, so that the brush heads do not jostle around and become damaged. So one star for the case for this purpose from me, but certainly the case is really nice for other uses, like a colored pencil set or other uses.Overall I am not sure it is worth the stated over $100 price point when I ordered them, but they are not a cheap set. I am an artist-painter so I have. a lot of brush experience. So somewhat recommend, 3 stars for the price point (but that is the case with makeup-marketed brushes over artist brushes), and 5 stars for the brushes, and less than 3 stars for the case.

No brush holder inside bag
For the price of the Rose and Ben Travel 5 Piece Brush Set, I expected a bag that would have a way to really protect each of the brushes against being smashed, etc. It doesn't and it doesn't even have a brush holder. It is a just regular zipper bag. Given its price point, something to further protect the bristles of the brushes would be expected.
