The media could not be loaded.  This item when filled with water leaks from the bottom - its basically a potential death trap and I wouldn't put this anywhere near any electronics.See my video - it takes a couple minutes from when you fill it with water for it to leak. The item when moving it around in your hands sounds like its loose - like the fan unit inside is loose. Open the front grille2. Remove the filter3. Remove the black cover (it would be easier to remove by pulling both side outward.4. Take out the white part and turn the transparent plug over as shown in the picture.5. Install all the components, add water, and start using, so that there will be no water leakage.In addition, this air cooler also can be used without water.Pls kindly try one more time with the above steps. GESUNDHOME Personal Space Air Cooler - 3-in-1 Portable Mini Cooler, Humidifier & Purifier with 7 Colors LED Lights by (White) The product arrived within the 3 week period provided on the description page but it sat in the box simply because the weather wasn't warm enough to use it. About a week ago the weather improved so I decided to unbox the item and make use of it. The first thing that I noticed was a rather loud rattle coming from the inside which just didn't seem normal but nonetheless I filled the reservoir to 75%, waited the 3 minutes as suggested and powered it up using the USB cable supplied (No plug).Fortunately I had placed the air cooler on top of a large plate because almost immediately water began to pour out of the bottom rendering it both useless and dangerous.I then wrote a rather angry email message to the seller and to my utter surprise, based on previous comments, a lady called Joanna responded within 12 hours providing a solution to the problem. Based on the fact that other buyers have had a similar problem, there seems to be a factory construction problem with some of the air coolers.Basically the solution is to remove the grille and filter before removing the black clip on the inside at the bottom of the case. This allows access to a small flat reservoir with what looks like a small suction cup at the bottom. This "suction cup" in my air cooler was not in the hole and that is why the water flowed out. Using a pencil, I pushed the cup down into the hole, replaced the clip, filter and grille and viola, after three minutes of waiting the air cooler worked perfectly without any water escape.Admittedly this problem should have never existed if a quality control department had tested it but given the quick reply and simple remedy, I have still given the product a 5-star review as it certainly does cool down your personal space much better than any fan.Jayarr

Keeps your space cool but water leaks on surface so need to put on a tray. Need to change filters which get black quickly . Not used it since I saw how black and slimy filters got

The fan itself isn’t terrible. On low speed it sounds like an old computer fan running on high which would be quiet enough to sleep with. However despite the advert’s claims only the multicoloured LED’s can be switched fully off. The main blue power light and accompanying fan speed light remain fully lit in a dazzling blue. This is impossible to sleep with which is the main reason I purchased this product. I have requested a return.

good and nice and cool but was a build up of mould on the filter rather quickly you would if had to change it nearly every month but a good item just would cost to keep clean

Not really a mini air-con unit. It is all depending on how cold the water is that you put into the unit. Once placed somewhere don’t try and move it as the water goes everywhere.

Works in small space, we have it on a chest at the end of a double bed. It should work well for a camper van or caravan.
