Moonster Portfolio, Brown, 33x25cm, Vintage - Multifunctional A5 Organiser Portfolio A4 - Leather Case For Paper -Folio

It's a sturdy, slightly weighty folder/folio which just oozes style. Maybe not to everyone's liking but I really like the vintage 'rustic' look. I have other travel and work accessories in a similar style. The pen's a nice touch, Moonster branded along the pocket clip. Better though for me is just having two pen loops. Very nicely made, and for once, the photographs and description truly represent the product I received. A 160 page note pad fits nicely and the front folds flat to the back firmly supporting the note pad for taking notes 'on the go', which is exactly what I bought it for. A little expensive as others have said? Maybe? Maybe not? It's outwardly high quality looking, hand made, and I know will draw comments. That's worth a little premium, no complaints about the price here. No 'smell' as other have reported either. Having bought other natural hand-made hide products I know this is common and wouldn't put me off knowing the odour dissipates over a short time. Very happy with this purchase,

It’s a robust portfolio - decent leather with that slightly aged look that I really like. More than enough pockets for documents and having two pen loops is an unusual and welcome feature. It holds my lined A4 pad well and gives me a solid surface for writing notes, especially when in meetings. I’d looked at other portfolios before selecting this one and I’m glad I did. Supplying a pen is a nice touch though I’m not entirely sure I’d call it a “premium” pen and what appears to be an extra fine ballpoint refill is a bit too fine for my handwriting style. This is a minor point and overall the Moonster portfolio is a very successful purchase.

Nice quality, well finished leather folder, with ample room for holding a head-stapled A4 or Letter pad. Good variety of pockets and slots in the inside cover too. Presented in a drawstring fabric bag for protection, which is a nice touch. No hint of ‘smell’ as mentioned by some other reviewers. Overall delighted with this - one star off for the supplied ‘deluxe’ pen not working at all, and no response from seller regarding this.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife who had just taken a senior executive position. I thought, what a great impression this would make in any board meeting, or any meeting really. Much better than a standard, plain, notepad, even if that is all that is inside this portfolio ;-). I liked the look of the distressed leather, the fact that it was described as being somewhat unique, as no two cuts of leather will be the same, and that it would potentially get better looking with age. Well, I was not disappointed! When it arrived it was presented very well, in its own bag, and upon taking it out - it was all that I had hoped it would be. The leather looks and feels great. It really does ooze quality & style, its just so tactile! The chemical smell that some others have mentioned was present to start with, but after a few days that had all but gone. I was so tempted to keep it for myself - but gave it to my wife as planned. She was over the moon with it, the look, feel, and overall quality. She now uses it almost daily, it has become a integral part of her home office equipment! Oh, and they even threw in a free pen. Not great, but a nice touch.

This is quality, thick leather, well padded and smell lovely when I first opened the box. The stitching along the border is on point. This is perfect for what I need it for, just enough slots for my daily use, no more, no less. I have been using this daily for a couple of weeks now and the leather just keep looking better and better. I think this will age really well. I'm now looking at some of their other leather line, their brown wallet is calling out to me......

Perfect for what I wanted, not a cheap product but good quality and style. I didn’t want/need multiple pockets, calculators and pen holders. Simple and classy without an annoying zip that constantly gets in the way. If you are looking for a ‘perfect leather finish’ (smooth and unmarked) this probably isn’t the product for you. I like the vintage used look and in my opinion looks better as it ages. Was it worth £50? Yes, I think it was. This isn’t Louis Vuitton or such like, but the stitching is excellent and the overall finish is perfectly pleasing. If you’re thinking about carrying an iPad/tablet then this might be a squeeze (and worth remembering there is no zip to keep things secure). I’d recommend, without doubt a superior product to that purchased on the high street and will stand out from the crowd without looking ostentatious. Will update in a few weeks when I have used it daily.

Looks smart / professional. Holds my A4 pad well and easy to change pad. It’s too soon to tell how durable it is and time will tell but it does seem to mark quite easily. I’ve taken off one star for that.
