The second rating is for Methylglyoxal (MGO) a naturally-occurring compound found in Manuka honey that gives it its unique antibacterial potency. So when shopping for Manuka honey, through these ratings, I now have a consistent standard for the choice I make.Obviously a product like this cannot guarantee results, but I am enjoying the wonderful flavor, especially with the thought that this has the possibility of improving my health.
