Excellent monitor with good resolution. I use it as an external monitor for my M3 MacBook Pro. It’s a good compromise between price and quality.

I really want to love this monitor, and I can easily say that it has relieved a significant amount of my eye strain and fatigue, also known as CVS or computer vision syndrome.Why the one star rating? Well, I have been through eight of these monitors. Three from Dell and five from Amazon. None of them matched in color temperature and/or accuracy, even after manual calibration, which is amazing considering the kind of monitors that they are. I also experienced a dead pixel which is completely unacceptable.If you are purchasing this monitor for eye strain or eye fatigue relief and are only buying one, I feel that you can purchase with confidence. Just ensure that you do have the ability to return it to Amazon and that you a check for pixel abnormalities daily during that return window.It is definitely not a gaming monitor but seems to work okay for that use case. I use it mostly for office work and find it fantastic in that regard.Again, the extremely poor quality control and consistency is why I rated it so poorly. So if you are planning on buying two, I hope the monitor lottery goes in your favor. Oddly enough, even the power led light has varied in brightness... Minor, bust still an amazingly noticeable inconsistency.Also, Dell should be ashamed for the refurb they sent me - the power button was completely worn out.

I am returning this monitor. I have a mixed usage case: gaming, work and hobbies. The monitor is very clear and the colors are accurate. I ran the monitor through a calibration with a Spyder 5 Pro and DisplayCal. The sRGB is almost spot on out of the box, but the DCI-P3 range is not as wide as advertised. My main issue is the IPS glow is bright. I found it to be more distracting than other IPS monitors I have used. I'm unsure if it's a problem with the IPS Black panel, or just this specific item. I would recommend this if you are using it for office only work. However, if you use a lot of applications with dark backgrounds, the IPS Glow might be distracting.
