Excellent construction and build. Nicely packaged. Base is die-cast aluminum as is the tube of the LED light itself. Works as advertised. I charged mine for 24 hours before using. I have set it to automatic for a 40% spotlight on a piece of art for 4 hours a day and I'm getting a full week of light before the battery needs to be recharged. I mounted the "home" plate on the ceiling with a single screw and anchor (did not use the 3M adhesive piece supplied) and the magnets are more than sufficient to hold the light firmly. Entire unit looks super-clean and professional. Planning on buying more.

I mounted this on the ceiling, about three feet from my 24"x30" picture. it throws off a very nice distribution of light. it is not a spotlight, nor does it flood the area of unwanted light outside of the picture - it evenly distributes the light over my picture. I have a second lite for a 35"x50" poster, where the light is 6 feet away. When illuminated, the area outside the picture has a very nice, gentle washout of light. the color temp is perfect, warm like an incandescent bulb but without changing the color of the picture at all. the designer seriously tested out and found the spot-on color temp. I tested the longevity of the battery by leaving the light on 13 hours straight at 40% power (which is definitely enough light for a picture) but this also included me playing around at 100% for at least 30 minutes and other levels of brightness. there was no change in the power. I turned it off then returned 8 hours later, turned it on again at 40% and left on for an additional five hours, at which time I noticed a drain of the power, in fact when I boosted to 100% it was similar to the 40% power level I was using. the remote works well for distance, better than any other light remote I previously had - at least 8-10 feet with no issues. One remote works for two lights, actually affecting both at the same time. Also, the lowest level, 10% is great for nighttime illumination when no other lites are on in the room. 100% is just too bright and can imagine is only good for daylight use, if you so wish. The only drawback is it takes a very long time to recharge this battery. I believe about 6 hours. This is a GREAT value for the money and comparable to any professional artwork lite.

I was really hoping that this light fixture would work out. Luckly, I didn't buy more than one. The rechargeable battery life listed in the product description is "90 hours at lowest brightness". After fully recharging the battery two times I'm getting substantially less hours of operation. It's unfortunate because there are a lot of things to like about the fixture. It appears to be well made, the remote works well, the light color and spread is very good but the battery life is a dealer breaker for me at this price point.

Greart light - works as advertised. I get about 6-7- days of low-medium brightness at 4-hours per dy of operation. No complaints. All that stated - Most of my home is integrated using smart home technology - and I had planned on capturing the IR codes from the remote control on this device -- and using my home integration to turn it on / off daily by issiing the IR codes from an emitter. ODDLY, the REMOTE uses VISIBLE LIGHT to transmit commands. Its a full RED LED on the end of the remote. it is NOT Infrared as most remotes are. Not a complaint - just a really weird quirk.

I like the concept and design of this light, but the battery doesn’t last as long as advertised. Mine is only lasting about 4 hours on 40%. Brightness.

This worked a handful of times and now it won’t charge. Even when it was fully charged the battery drains very quick. Waste of money.

Not quite as bright as I wanted but it does a good job. Like the remote that comes with it.

OMG. it's not often i get WOWed right when taking something out of the box. I was absolutely so impressed by this light and have them both in black and white. It's got a heavy weight to it which is perfect for keeping it on the floor. ALSO the battery is much larger than the competitors and it is BRIGHT.I love the warm lighting - it's perfect and not too orange. I literally scoured the web to see if I could buy it in bulk so I can use them everywhere.Absolutely love that it softly turns on and off AND the timer function is so cool (haven't tried it yet since you have to turn it on at the time you'd like it to be turned on).I bought a competitor brand and while the other one looked good, URTOM was a clear winner. The aluminum body is so nice - it's like Apple could've made it. I was a bit hesitant to buy based on the price ($32) but I'm sold..These days companies online rip off stock images of other companies and everyone is selling the same thing until you get it in your hands and realize it's a POS. Not this one. THe remote is exactly as shown and i love everything about it!
