This is a classic grinder sure to catch everyone's eyes. It is made from solid pieces of black walnut, maple, black cherry and red oak. This will bring a classic and decorative touch to your kitchen with its deep rich colors, let alone being functional. Each one of my grinders are unique, with no 2 being the same. Each one is individually turned on my lathe with use of hand held tools and no thought of what it will look like when it's done. The pictures that are displayed are the actual pepper mill you'll receive. These are truly handcrafted. I do not use a stain on my grinders for many reasons, but I do use shellac and a wax. With smooth lines and soft curves, it is easily cleaned. There is a easily access door to fill the grinder with your favorite pepper corns and a thumb nut to adjust the grinder for that perfect grind. This pepper mill is approximately 9 1/2" tall. Here at the house, we use the same style grinder. Ours is on a different base. Cleaning and operating instructions come with each pepper mill. The pepper grinder that is shown will be the one you will receive.
