Wanting to make the most of my backyard patio entertainment space, had me purchase this lighting system. The decision to buy these over others was based on a few factors. They are LED bulbs so they are more energy efficient than standard incandescent bulbs of similar rating. The bulbs coverings are of a durable clear plastic which acts as a protection if dropped on hard surfaces while also keeping overall weight of the system to a minimum. It is also remote controlled with several brightness settings and presets. The auto On / Off feature is excellent. Currently I have it set to turn on the lights at 8pm and off at 10pm.

I bought several boxes of these string lights and have them hanging on my outdoor porch. They have been up for 7-8 months now and they are still in great condition! They give off enough light to help you see during a nice evening outside, but its not too bright that it's blinding and annoying for the neighbors. I would definitely purchase them again!

A little brighter than I thought it would have been. Very good quality, looks great. Lights do not get hot.

Just put them up outside along our fence. Like the lights, their color, their dimming performance, but noted a couple of issues.First, there is no extension provided with which to plug the lights in and hide the extension cord. The connecting plug is just a couple of feet or so from the first bulb. Some of the higher quality sets advertise an included, extension to hide the extension cord.Second, there is a tag near one of the plug ends that says something like "not for outdoor use longer than 90 days" or some such. I thought this caution to be odd, especially considering these are clearly advertised as "Outdoor String Lights". Time will tell if they last outside longer than 90 days or not. So far so good, but I'll be sure to update if I have problems with outdoor use.
