This is the only cleansing balm I've ever used, so I can't compare it to any other products, but I love it! The product melts into a nice smooth oil that quickly dissolves makeup and rinses easily without leaving a residue. No irritation to my skin. After cleansing my skin feels clean but not dry or tight. There is definitely a light added fragrance that smells a bit floral and citrusy, but even as someone who can't stand strongly fragranced products, it does not bother me. It helps that it's not like it is sitting on your skin afterwards and doesn't leave a lingering scent. Overall, great product for anyone who prefers a gentle and more nourishing cleanser!

This gets alllll my makeup and grime from the day off. It leaves no residue but my skin feels nourished and soft. I’d recommend using even without makeup as a first cleanse. The only downside for me is the obnoxious packaging; it’s super wasteful and takes up a bit of room in my cabinet. Also, if you’re sensitive to fragrance, stay away.

Excellent cleanser skin feels soft and smooth afterwards. Removes makeup cleanses well without stripping your skin. No fragrance. I am so happy that I have found cleansing balms I used several brands they are excellent at cleaning. But they are all not the same. This cleansing balm is excellent for removing makeup. Whereas another brand Palmer's I have tried was not good at removing smudge proof makeup. I also like Ponds cleansing balm the excellent at cleansing and removing makeup I'm leaving here skin feeling moisturize however as rose fragrance though I do not find it to be irritating

I personally didn’t care for this product, it feels like washing your face with Crisco. I didn’t notice much of a scent. Perhaps would be good for very dry skin.

This gets all your makeup and oil-based impurities off in no time with no residue. It does not strip your skin, and it's very moisturizing and balancing. The smell is interesting, almost seems medicinal or waxy. That probably the only con. I think its from the marula oil though, and it's not so strong it's a bother. This is my new favorite oil cleanser because it travels so well since it's a balm. Try it and fall in love.

I liked the consistency, aroma and cleansing ability. However, it caused major eye irritation. It took a couple weeks for me to put two and two together. But the nights I used it I still had watery stonging eyes the next day, well into the afternoon. I know allergies vary from person to person, but I had to throw the remainder of the product away, which I hardly ever do. I also agree with others about the bulky packaging. I could not close my medicine cabinet door with this jar inside.

It caused rashes. No way the ingredients are pure.

I am a fan of double cleansing and am always on the hunt for the best oil cleanser. Recently I’ve been partial to balmy products vs liquid oils. I love this cleanser. It completely breaks down my sunblock and does not irritate my eyes (I infrequently wear makeup; I’m uncertain about cleansing potential re heavy makeup). The citrus scent may be off putting for some especially those who dislike fragrances in their skincare but I’ve gotten used to it and no longer notice it. While I love the product the packaging can be improved. The spatula which allows for easy dispensing is great but the pot housing the product is significantly smaller at its base than the counter space required to store the product.
