Recommended by Nancy Birtwhistle in her home book series as an alternative to oxiwash/chlorine bleach.The powder comes in a bag in a resealable tub and I have used an old protein powder scoop to dispense the product into the drum of the machine/hand wash bowl. The scoop fits inside the tub perfectly.The product is excellent - I have used it to rescue many a grubby white item, and it works well on colours without any fading or fabric degradation. I found it worked best when sprinkled onto the item placed in a washing up bowl and poured very hot water over the item. This created lots of bubbles and cleaned away all of the stains. It is very good for an overnight soak prior to a wash in the machine.The powder lasts ages and I wouldn't go back to any of the retail oxiclean powders. Good value for money.

Got this on advice from Nancy Birtwhistle’s books. I was sceptical at first until I realised that I had been using this chemical already just packaged differently as tea stain remover… obviously this product is much better value. I’m now exploring how this can be used in my home.

I was recommended this to get my whites white again and so far it's excellent.Plus you can use it for other purposes that I'm yet to discover.I did a pre soak in hot water for around 4-6 hrs then in the washing machine.You can just put a few tblsp's in your washing machine with your usual wash etc, way cheaper than Vanish tubs .

Works well. I use this for bleaching my dish cloths and cleaning tea stained cups.It is much better for the environment than traditional bleach products.

Wont be buying anymore vanish this is a first class project.
