I love red licorice and I was really looking forward to trying the Amish Good brand. It is on the firmer side of chewiness. It. Is bright red, very cherry in flavor, without being too sweet. Well packed to guarantee freshness.

These licorice sticks are much more dense tha thr “T” brand and they’re not as waxy as that brand which is good. Unfortunately their strawberry flavor does not come through too well.

Like eating Lincoln logs! I love black licorice and I’ve tried other countries and of course some I liked and others not so much. But never have I tasted something so tasteless! I detected nothing except hard chewing! Vines are a thousand times more flavorful and they won’t crack your teeth! This product comes in a two pack…. I threw away the pack I opened of course. Now what to do with the other one, …I could ask people if they like black licorice and give it them… and they I realized I’d feel guilty if they took it. So I threw it away too.

I bought this licorice in three flavors - blue raspberry, watermelon, and green apple. The flavors are good but the licorice is too hard, in my opinion. A little too expensive for the quality.

Purchased: Cinnamon and Licorice. FRESH! Congrats to the artisans. Packed full of flavor. No cloying sweetness. Consider this an adult treat if you value flavor over sugar. Its weight and tightly wrapped vines exemplifies the confectioners pride in their product. Also, well worth the cost. You will not be disappointed.

Having owned a candy store, and having a “licorice wall” I consider myself a connoisseur of licorice—especially black licorice, my favorite! I must say that this licorice may be the best black licorice I’ve ever had! It is thick, soft, tender, tasty, not greasy and not sticky. It’s just right. My only criticism may be—and this is obviously very subjective—is that it might be a little sweet. But not off-putting in any way. If you’re looking for that stuff that smells like ammonia, this ain’t it! This is the good stuff!
