This is such a fun item. Every September, I ask my children and children-in-law to guess the date of our first snow. (It has to be enough snow to accumulate on the grass.) I came up with this to combat the post-Christmas blues. We typically get our first snow in January here in the mid-Atlantic. The prize usually consists of a snow day movie, gloves, a warm hat, and snacks. I was tired of the same old, same old and was excited to award this to this year's winner. I see more of these being awarded in the future with more participants. Great fun!
