I bought this to space out the caliper on my shimano 105 caliper while I’ve got the bike on the turbo trainer or when I’m transporting it. As everyone knows, pulling the lever with no disc results in a lot of swearing while trying to get the pistons to retract again! These are cheap and easy and you get loads of spares!

the amount of times my mate has had to sort my breaks after I’ve pressed the lever with no wheel on is ridiculous. This has stopped that happening lol. You get more than enough in a pack too so have some friends one.

They are not a snug fit on my bike

These are an absolute must have when taking your mountain bike to wheels on or off. The horror of getting to the bike park and finding that your brake pad has fallen out on the journey, there is no worse feeling.These are made of a nice decently thick plastic that holds its shape very well. It’s a bright colour, so you’re not easily going to lose it and they’ve fit into my SRAM brakes securely.For £4.99 It will be something that I will just leave in the car or in a toolbox, just so that I have them handy. Very happy with this purchase as a saves lots of money compared to losing disc pads.

These are just the thing if you often transport your bike with the wheels off. Just pop one between the pads where the disk would be and you can forget about accidentally squeezing the lever and popping out the caliper pistons. Once was enough for me. These fit well and the orange colour means they’re hard to forget.
