Premium feel, works very well
I got this curing lamp for two reasons: (1) for my wife to use curing UV nail polish, and (2) to set some dried flowers from a relative's wedding into resin for an anniversary gift for them. The light is an interesting design, with the two halves held together magnetically. The fact it can cure from both above and below is (a) going to speed up the curing time, and (b) mitigate against warping as one side of a piece hardens faster than the other as with conventional one-sided curing lights. It has a nice smooth finish which gives it a premium feel. I like the included shelf for two-sided curing. Each half can be used independently, and with the quoted UV wavelengths it's ideal for most nail polish. The thing that makes it slightly less suitable for use with nail polish is the preset timing - the shortest preset time is 2 minutes, which is often a bit longer than you want to do your nails for. But no problem, you can just take your hand out.Overall, I'm impressed with this unit and look forward to using it more.

RESIN ART FOR BEGINNERS
Ordering and setting up the LET'S RESIN light box was the easiest part. Not knowing which kind of resin to order took longer and required a bit of window shopping on AMAZON. I decided to buy a small bottle to begin with and go from there. The manual tells you which kind of resin you need to work with this light box. Other than peeling the protective covers off and plugging it in there really isn't much to the setting up!The unit comprises of two clamshell like pieces that magnetically link together. Both have USB-C power input, you must use only the provided power adapter it would seem, I have not tried any others. Each of the two light pieces can work individually or together. When connected together you can plug the adapter into either as there is a power button on both plus use the same button to select how many minutes you need the light on up to 5 minutes max, then it automatically turns off. Also it is silent in operation, just do not look at the light it will mess up your eyes!I do not have any fancy mouldings to test so I used part of an old blister pack that originally held some M3 thumb screws. Anyway, I placed a penny in the middle and poured a small amount of resin over it until it reached the edges and placed the moulding into the light box on the tray and set it to on and five minutes. I think it would also be fun to use a jelly mould and bury the office stapler! When it reached the end of the five minutes, the resin was barely warm to touch and popped out of the blister pack like a solid plastic coin! See my sample photo. I did not do a good first test run because part of the coin was not covered, so I flipped it over and did the other side sadly it messed up the edges. I think it is wise to pour a little resin in first before placing something flat like a coin in it and then pouring the res on top.For a first test run it wasn't all that bad, I see it is quick and painless to do so I look forward to making some creative designs with the LET'S RESIN light box. For the price it is definitely good value, the resin can be expensive but worth it for all the designs you can create. Next I will have to create some unique mouldings.

Good to see moves forward
[This version does include a UK plug!]Pros- pretty decent build and materials- the magnetic function is a really nice creature comfort, so easy to put together and put away- bright UV LEDs- speeds up curing time- less warping, not scientific but it definitely seems to do it a lot less!- shelf is includedCons- potentially would have been nice to have two shelves so you could prep another set to swap out for time convenienceIt's about the same quality as the better quality UV lamps in regards to plastics and materials. Has a nice smooth feel though so I personally think it feels a bit more premium than the stand low one sided lamps. It's so easy to put together as well. Just pull it out of the box and let the magnets do the work. You'll know if you've put it on the wrong way cause the magnetic won't line up. The correct way round it snaps in place comfortably. The UV is bright and consistent. It's great having it going from both sides at the same time. This will depend on the moulds you're using though so the more clear, the better results. Works pretty reasonably in a standard translucent moulds though.I've noticed less warping in the pieces I've done as well. If you have the balance plate as well it just ends up being not really noticeable if it does do it. So you'll get better results on a balanced surface. Might just be placebo but if I did it slightly off balance it still seemed to warp, still not as much as a one sided UV lamp would though.Overall, it's sped up the process and does perform much better than a single sided UV lamp. Can definitely recommend if you find the single sided not quite working for you!

Works well but would have liked a longer time setting
I’ve only dabbled with this so far but it certainly helps to speed up the curing time of epoxy resin. It’s well built and the two sided lighting is useful for curing from both sides of a piece, so full marks there. My only slight gripe is that the longest time setting is five minutes, which isn’t long enough, unless your pieces are really thin. Ideal for resin jewellery but otherwise you have to set it going again. My daughter also tried it in her gel nails and said it worked really well, even if I did make her wear nail gloves to protect her skin.
