Quality: Very sturdy, high quality, well made sandals. Comfortable to wear right from the start and for long periods at a time, these Keen Newport H2 sandals provide additional protection via the closed toe front whilst still being sufficiently 'airy' in design to let your feet breath in hot conditions. The materials used appear to be of high quality and waterproof so that you can walk through streams, puddles or into the shallows of the sea when at the beach, without water damaging these sandals. The sole is particularly sturdy, offering excellent support and protection in all the right places including heels, foot arches and toes for when walking long distances or across uneven terrain. I also found the under sole grips to be good in wet, slippery and uneven underfoot conditions. Style: Robust, built for purpose. Available in several colour options to suit a range of tastes. However, if you are looking for more flimsy, lightweight and delicate boutique style sandals to wear as a fashion statement, then these might not be for you. Comfort: Comfortably (pun intended) the best sandals I have ever owned. Sizing: I am invariably a size 9 (EU 43) for all types of footwear and so that is the size I bought in this instance, despite some of the observations posted on other reviews to buy them one shoe size bigger than normal, and they fitted me perfectly. Price / Value for money: I bought these sandals in June 2014 from Amazon for £53. If the current price online is anywhere up around their normal RRP of £80 and you aren't in any particular hurry to buy them, then simply pop these items into your 'Save for Later' list on Amazon and wait for the price to drop, which it will. However, if you can't wait for that bargain to appear, then even at full RRP these sandals are decent value for the high quality and comfort they offer. Overall: These Keen NEWPORT H2 sandals are a genuine five start product that have prompted me to write this review, the first of any kind I have ever felt inclined to write in relation to a product I have purchased online. Whether for holidaying abroad in hot, sunny conditions, or for walking the beaches and coastal paths of the UK, or even for use on more testing terrain, I would highly recommend these sandals as an excellent choice for almost anyone.

I've been wearing these for years, this must be my 6th or 7th pair. I put them on in the spring, and take them off when winter starts and in between they're on my feet all the time. they look good, they're comfortable, they're tough. I wear them like slippers around the house, and they're comfortable and tough enough to wear on ten mile hikes. they're expensive, but often go on sale a couple of times a year with substantial savings. this pair was a Black Friday deal

Best sandal out there for comfort, quality and closed toe means tough on the rough.

They’re not exactly lightweight but that’s because they’ve good tough soles, comfortable out the box. My only gripe is the insole are supposed to be odour free/protection, but after wearing all day they STINK and need a proper wash! Good value, appearance and being by Keen they have a wide toe box with toe protection. Highly recommended. Only negative is they smell!!

Excellent hiking sandals. Really comfortable and easy to take on and off. I got these to wear on a trip travelling around India and I wanted something that would protect my feet without getting too hot and they were perfect for that. I found that I did have to wear socks with them though but you have to do that anyway usually with walking shoes.

very comfy and supportive for my damaged toes. flexible cushion soles and wide around toes where l need it. l am a women who has to buy Mens to get the shape. i got a 6.5 but might have tried a 6 if hadn`t had damaged my toes. good grip . l like this chunky style

Strap on heel snapped after third time putting them on, needs to be stronger because the elastic on the front of the shoe is quite strong, which is good, but makes pulling sandal on a bit harder.
