Desoldering Wick Braid 30M - 98ft Length 2.5mm Width Solder Wick Braid with Flux, Cable Remover Tool Solder Sucker W 0.10'' L 98'

It is a 2.5 strip of copper that sucks solder into itself and is removed. It works well and is a quality product. My only regret is that it's supposed to be 30m long but it seems to be very small. The heat level should be watched since it can effect the components but using this desoldering band should prevent this from happening. It is a good value for your money but the picture is definitely misleading. I expected double the amount for the price.

Absorbed quite a bit of solder. Only issue is wic gets nodded sometimes when trying to unspool.

This is a really decent, well made wick. Tight weave that appears to be all copper. I mean, it's no "Chemtronics Chem-wik®", but what is?! Even that wick is being price gouged here on Amazon at the moment, someone's charging more than DOUBLE it's MSRP, so this was a suitable alternative if you don't want to get the other wick from China with a huge markup!I do wish they had the 3 or 4mm version, but alas, it seems they only go up to 2.5mm.

Works well for desoldering and cleaning up excessive amounts of solder for reapplication.There is a good amount of it. I did manage to break my snips putting a notch on one edge of the spool to keep it from unraveling, but that was more my fault than anything.

If you are used to Chem wick ,Tech spray or a decent brand of wick Stay Away from this stuff. Does it work? Not very well. Not happy with it. Doesn't suck up the solder well. Next time I will buy a familiar name brand.

Nice quality solder wick that does what it says. I always add some liquid flux or rosin based flux to the solder wick before I use, no matter what the manufacturers or description says but even so, this stuff works very well. I bought the 100’ roll in 3MM width. It arrived as described. A good deal on good solder braid.

So far so good, it removes solder easily without any complications. It's built in with flux but I still like to add a little flux just to make it easier. Works well.
