I'm attending a shark themed dog sport event and thought it would be super cute to dress my dog up with a shark fin, so I ordered this. It fit her well and of course she looks really cute wearing it, so it worked out well for us.The fin arrived shrink wrapped in plastic overwrap with two plastic buckle type pieces and no instructions on how to use those plastic pieces (or for anything else). I couldn't figure it out what they are for/how to use them. I've now discovered that there's a photo with one of the plastic pieces in it with the product listing, and I see how it's being used there, but it seems it's only a single one being used and it's just holding things in place, not making anything adjustable. So why two of them? Seems that will remain a mystery for me. Since it fits my (60-ish pound) dog as-is, I'm not too worried about it, but I don't think this would work on a much smaller dog. Anyway, the fin is essentially felt on both sides with a very thin center layer, and then there's the elastic straps. Pretty simple, but good for what I wanted it for.

So easy to put on, and not uncomfortable either. I wore this for about 5 hours every day for a week and was not uncomfortable in any way.

It’s a nicely constructed shark fin. It looks to be made of heavy felt-type material. I purchased it to have fun with it in the pool with my golden retriever. He loves to swim. But, he was confused with the fin on his back and wouldn’t move until it was removed.

My son played a shark in a recent musical, and this worked perfectly!

So if you can get this to fit snug on you then its a win. Unfortunately it has no good way to adjust the size so if it doesn't fit you have no options other than modifying it.

This shark fin costume is OK quality. It would be best to use this to add to a child's dress-up chest for occasional use. While the material is thick and durable, it is definitely meant for dress-up time, and not any kind of actual costume. With that said, it is absolutely strong enough to handle lots of abuse, and likely the elastic will wear out before the actual fin does.

This is a very cool shark fin accessory. Can fit kids as well as adults. Has no smell and is made well. Very fun and whimsical. Comes with clips to hold the elastic bands in place. A great value for the money.

My son swims on a summer swim team with a shark mascot. He was very excited to see this shark fin. He can wear it to swim meets and drum up some team spirit. It's made of thick felt, with two elastic straps. There are also two small clips included in case you need to pull the straps together at the chest to tighten it up. The fin is open on the side that contacts your body, so when you wear it, it opens up a bit so it doesn't look flat when you wear it. Cute!
