It’s heavy enough to keep my umbrella stable. Even after a few storms it’s still upright. Btw…the description states that it’s meant to use with a table, not alone. Without a table it’s top heavy, and will fall over unless you somehow modify it.

I recently purchased this umbrella base and overall, it's a good product. It's sturdy and easy to set up, holding the umbrella securely in mild weather. However, it's not quite heavy enough to withstand strong winds with my 9 foot umbrella, which can be a bit concerning on particularly windy days. Despite this, it's a decent base for everyday use. Four stars!

Heavy enough our 9ft umbrella is safe so far on those days a storm just blows up and you run to put your umbrella down...well this stand was strong enough I didn't worry. It looks nice as well!. I would recommend it!

We have it on our dock where it gets very windy. It’s very heavy and stable.

Purchased this for back patio umbrella. It is very attractive and easy to use however it was not heavy enough to stop the umbrella from tipping over in a very low moderate wind (and yes, the umbrella was in the closed position at the time)

I wanted an umbrella stand that could be used without having to be under a table. And this one is PERFECT. It is very nice looking. It has held up for weeks now on my deck with just an 9 foot umbrella standing in it. There have been some high wings but it did not turn over. However, I try to lower the umbrella if I know a storm is coming. I'm very pleased with it and glad that I bought it.

I love the design as well. We have very strong winds here and this is very heavy and sturdy.
