Look... these are exactly what you are buying for the guy that would never wear peep-toed fish flops. That is the point. And he wore them, beer in hand, and bow-legged walked out to check his lines. WIN!

I'm not sure why, but I expected these to have a softer surface than they do. They remind me of molded closed-cell, dense foam like what high-end pool floats are made from. So I guess they would be great by the pool, but they aren't very comfortable for lounging inside the house, and they don't provide any sort of warmth at all. But they look like fish, which is essentially the whole point, isn't it?

I'm not sure that there's anyone out there who would purposely buy their own pair of fish-shaped sandals, but this is really the perfect gag gift. I can just imagine unwrapping a gift at a white elephant party and getting ... these. Big laughs for sure. The product is really clever, designed to look like a shark on your feet. The coloring fades on the belly, like an actual shark and the eye is a glass(-ish) eye. There are serrated teeth at the toes, but aren't sharp at all. The inner sole is textured to keep your foot from slipping around in the sandal while it's wet; the same is true of the outer sole. That said, they aren't particularly soft or supportive; these shoes were designed for laughs, not for orthotics. I wouldn't want to stand in these for hours at a time.

These shark flops are so fun! If you’re not familiar with Coddies, they have a whole line of very popular fish flops in a range of colors that I’ve spotted on teens all over where I live. They bring joy and giggles! I’m so glad they’ve branched out and made some shark flops, too! These are well made and feel very much like my Crocs. They’re a thick, durable material and I think they’re comfy. The teeth are still soft to the touch, even though they look like they’ll bite your toe off. These will make a super fun and unique gift. I’m saving these for my 15 year old for Christmas…he will for sure appreciate the humor & comfort of these fin-tastic flops. 🦈

"Coddies" is an adorable name for these, though they're also calling them sharks so it's a little confusing. Now I actually googled and these look like neither sharks nor cod, which might be important if the wearer knows the difference. But I guess if accuracy is really that important you can make shoes out of actual fish. Speaking of very temporary shoes, that's what these are. I wouldn't plan on anyone wearing them any longer than the joke of receiving them, because they're really not designed for that. But they will make a fashion statement, especially if you go for maximum juxtaposition like the model in the pictures with the red cocktail dress.

Ordered these for the novelty and funny aspect of them (shark sandals!) Didn't expect them to be as comfy as they are, though!! The plastic/foam(?) that they're made of is surprisingly resilient and supportive. I never thought I'd actually want to wear these (other than for as a joke), but they're just fun and comfy. The fins curve up just a little in the back, so they don't slide off my feet, and the strap over the top of my foot isn't so hard that it digs in. And, of course, they're super silly and make me (and everyone who sees them) laugh. Turns out Coddies makes some great slides! Give them a try!

Pretty unique sandals. Good for indoor and outdoor use. Despite being somewhat of a novelty item, these are actually fairly well constructed. Something that also surprised me is these sandals are also pretty comfortable. You can wear them like any other beach sandals or flip flops and they are waterproof to wear to the beach or pool. There's no back on them so they can slip off, especially if they are large for your feet, but it hasn't been an issue for me. Fun pair of sandals, and even though they are novel, they are pretty cool and people have commented on them a lot when I wear them.

I hate sharks as a rule, ever since I watched Jaws as a child but these flip flops are so much fun I really cannot help but smile. Really well made considering this is a novelty item. My Son assures me these were great for in the shower due to the extra large grip on the sole and the bobbles/ grip on the insole. Fun realistic / easily recogniseable design. Quick to dry and clean. Really quite comfortable to wear and was found to be true to size. Definitely recommend these !

I ordered these pair of Shark Flops from Coddies brand in a UK size 5/6 which fit me in length as a UK 6/6.5 but I found them a bit narrow and there’s no adjustment. The sole is flat with no bounce, but ideal for the beach or pool. I recommend you size up if you have wider than average feet. The shark design is good and certainly funny, but I noticed the colour had worn after only wearing mine for less than an hour in my kitchen, that surprised me, as they’re not cheap. When it comes to funny gifts these are up there with the best of them … for me anyway. They are shaped like a fish … of sorts, a shark, maybe, or even a piranha. The grip on the soles are pretty grippy even on wooden floorboards and other slippery surfaces, plus, as the soles are nice and thick they can handle small stones and even drawing pins if you accidently step on something like that. This makes them great for the beaches of the UK, both sand and pebbles … and broken glass bottles which have been dumped there by some inconsiderate people. I opted for size 7-8 which are very much on the snug size so I’d recommend going for a size higher as these can pinch and aren’t easily stretched due to their material. But if you get the right size then these fit well and slip on and off with relative ease. And as an added bonus the company who make these claim that 5% of their net proceeds are donated to ocean conservation … which is good to know as oceans do need protecting In all, a fine gift for those with a sense of humour who don’t mind their toes being on show from inside the mouth of a fish.

I love the design, but I can't wear them. The fit is ok (I got the 9.5-11 size, for my size 10 feet) and they look fab. But sadly the area which goes against the top of your foot is hard plastic. It digs in with each step, making them impossibly uncomfortable to wear, even with socks. These are not regular house slippers, but more outdoorsy flip-flops. Shame, as the idea is really neat, and they are otherwise well made.

I saw these on the television programme and took a photo. I entered it into Google image search and that brought me to Amazon. These are super squidgy and comfortable, but best of all: nobody can take their eyes off of your feet. I absolutely love them. My son bought the black and silver when he moved to Germany and has had the exact same reaction everywhere he goes. Great gift...as long as you get a pair for yourself as well! The soles are padded with a type of foam inside and are fairly comfortable to wear. I wouldnt recommend them to someone who intends to walk far in them as while they are fairly good quality, they can be a little tight around the toes and have some unrefined edges inside, but these are only little complaints. When i need some new fish, i'll know where to look. I would buy this again.
