Gross, I don’t recommend
Product was chewy and stale. Tasted terrible!

A new go-to snack, even better toasted or baked
I hadn't tried popped lotus seeds before ordering this product. Now I think I'll be making them a snacking staple. I've seen that they can be somewhat crunchy and somewhat chewy or spongey, and I'd say these are closer to the latter. I had some straight out of the bag and enjoyed them, but wanted to try making them crispier and adding a little flavor. I toasted them in the convection oven which got them nice and crunchy. I added anardana churan but it didn't stick to the seeds so I'll need to get an oil sprayer to spray them first. I'm glad I found these and I recommend this product.

Not as crispy as I would have liked
The phool makhana came well-sealed and in perfect condition with no leaks. The makhana is puffy and big (like popped popcorn) and doesn't have a scent. It tastes a bit nutty and earthy, but mostly neutral (like rice cakes). The texture starts as crispy but quickly becomes soft and a bit gummy. I think oxygen absorbing pouches would have helped this. They're nice but would be better if they were fully crispy.

Not crunchy like it says
When I got this in a large plastic bag, it was soft and chewy, not crunchy. Disappointing.

I love eating makhana as a snack and this is the best one that I have ordered till now. It helps maintain my sugar level as I am diabetic.

To improve fiber and calcium makhana is the easiest and tasty way, daily consumption of it improve your health, and this one is puffy and big in size

Overall, this product is quite good but you do find one or two bad pieces. It's mostly expected and not a big issue. That said, I tried Murli Makhana for the first time just to switch it up a bit. It was unbelievable good, every single makhana is carefully curated.
