I ordered both the threadless variety pack, and the internally threaded variety pack. I have edited this post to cover both.-------------After reviewing a couple sets of tapers, these are by far the best I've seen. The 16ga Taper has a 0.004" deviation (acceptable in my opinion), but the rest are within one one thousandths of an inch! For an added plus, the deviations are consistant for both sets.I have no way to verify the grade of metal, but it appears and feels to be titanium, and is definitely not magnetically reactive. They are polished very well, and in spite of their delicate appearance, have been quite durable so far.Below I have added the measurements of each Taper that I received. I have screw-back jewelry that’s usually a pain to reinsert due to the design. These made the process so much easier (just be sure to sterilize before use). I was able to reinsert my jewelry hassle-free into my healed cartilage piercing—no struggle!

This product was a ‘life’ saver. I’ve tried a couple of other gauging methods. I had been dealing with one lobe closing to about 22G and couldn’t get anything else thru it. This product worked perfectly. It hurt like a b#tch but it worked. Not to mention the earring is extremely comfortable to sleep in as the hollow back prevents the post from poking your skull.

4 stars bc they weren’t labeled. Got the job done tho! I had to stretch my nose holes to fit my jewelry bc I lost my old rings & they started to close. As long as you have a good oil/butter it shouldn’t hurt. I used a shea butter mixed with tea tree oil & they went right in, very easy. I could definitely see these working for other piercings I have also, will definitely keep these handy.

The media could not be loaded. This set is awesome! I have always had to go to the piercer to get certain piercings switched out just due to the angle and not being able to see or get my fingers into such a small space. This is especially true for my forward helix with a labret backing. You have to push the back through first and then the jewelry inserts from the front. That’s not easy to do on your own, that is unless you have these tools! These make it SUPER easy to insert the backing, and it takes seconds. Then just keep the pressure on the backing and insert the jewelry. I love that they included a tool for all the different jewelry styles. They have one for internally threaded, external threading and push pin. It all comes with a nice carrying case for easy storage. I’m excited to be able to change out my own jewelry with no frustration. It also comes with a card that helps you determine the gauge of your jewelry, the bar length and you can use it to measure what bar length you need. This is not at all expensive, it costs less than one trip to get my jewelry changed out, so I’m very excited to have it.

Make my life 20 billion times easier to switch jewelry I would recommend over and over if you use flatbacks

These were correct to size and I have had no adverse reactions to the material. Good for tapering/stretching piercings that shrunk in size from keeping jewelry out but you’re still able to get a regular earring through. I recommend to use an oil based lubricant (with any stretching of piercings) to ensure as comfortable a size change as possible.

Work as they should. Very durable and functional.
