Exceptional Technology
I’ve been really impressed with every aspect of this TV. It is an exceptional piece of technology which has been a huge upgrade in my household. The TV arrived securely and very well packaged. It was easy to set up, even for an amateur like myself! There was a step by step guide which I followed on my phone using the QR code. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, with bright colours that really pop. The smart features are fast and responsive. I particularly like that I can use my iPhone as the remote control. It also has this excellent feature where I can mirror my phone content on the screen. I think this is a great value TV which is also aesthetically pleasing. The narrow edges maximise its appeal which will add a touch of modern to any room. The sound is impressive and the built-in deep bass subwoofer adds that extra oomph, which decreases the need to add a soundbar. I highly recommend.

Good for gaming
It's a great TV. It is 120Hz refresh rate as advertised. High quality. If you get it with a soundbar, it's an extremely good experience. Dimensions are as they are, even without the soundbar. The sound quality is still fine, but fine at best. You're not going to get soundbar experience from it. It's very good colors. Worth it.

4.5 stars for TV and 3 stars for Amazon.
Amazon. Ordered on Friday, TV delivered free of charge on Sunday (with or without Prime – same delivery). Glad that the TV was well packed to survive all the cuts and bruises during the delivery. The Amazon delivery guys cared more how to leave as fast as possible rather than abt the TV.If you install it on a higher floor than your ground floor (like me) I advise you to measure carefully if it fits through the stairs and landing. I wanted to buy 98” or 100” (the latter was just £100 extra for the same Hisense model!), but after I practised with a cut-out cupboard I realised that it will not fit unless I cut the ceiling (which I was not allowed to).The biggest disappointment with Amazon however was that the price offered was the same as other retailers, but little did I know that one other retailer provides free 5 year warranty, while when bought from Amazon it is a standard 2 years. Hisense helpline advised that extended 5 years warranty applies only when purchased from that retailer (their Sales Rep failed to mention this to me, which cost him the sale!). This was the biggest disappointment buying from Amazon.TV. Overall, very good quality, but not 5 stars due to the dirty screen effect abt 10-15 cm wide vertical edges on the both sides of the screen. The rest is pretty good in terms of picture quality, sound, connectivity, applications, etc. I did not notice much blooming, which is quite small and you have to look for it. The picture appearance needs to be adjust for different type of input, especially if watching HDR 4k YouTube videos, which enable many setting parameters that otherwise are greyed out on other inputs. I disabled AI adaptation feature because I found it annoying when the picture (say, person’s face) automatically changes its appearance during the same movie scene. Lastly, a very annoying pop up Energy Efficiency Notice every time you press the Picture settings. There are many positive reviews online of this model and I agree with them, except one – sound quality. The reviewers and especially Sales Reps were telling that this TV needs a soundbar because the built in speakers are rubbish. In my opinion, they are great and do the job lovely. I can enhance bass booster in the settings and in my view no need for extra sound system. To note, my TV is not a wall fixed, but free standing 20-30 cm from the wall, which maybe helps. Also, the sound quality on Satellite and Aerial channels are much better than coming of the connected DVD player.Another observation, the power cable is on the opposite site from all other cables (important for you cable management). I could not pair my iPhone via Bluetooth (other devices like remote controller, headphones, etc are connected OK). My Panasonic DVD Player is 5 years old and it freezes when I select HDMI cable setting on Enhanced, but the problem is solved once the setting is on Automatic. In conclusion, I had a dilemma to choose between U8N 75” and U7N 85” for the same price. I chose 7 85” and do not regret to go large.

Pretty unbeatable for the price
Great value for money !! I just set this up and of course I know it’s never gonna be a £4000 picture quality tv but it is strange as you have to manually switch on the ai picture engine and most visual tweaks. I thought when I first switched it on the picture quality was good but after tweaking all the features (there are a lot) the image quality now is absolutely superb. Particularly Dolby Vision, HDR , refresh rate. Sound is actually great for what it is with Dolby Atmos etc but if you wanna up the quality I’d advise getting a surround sound system to go with the tv. The Hisense OS is easy to navigate, it’s got loads going on for all your apps . IMAX content (where you can find it) is amazing . I found setting the TV up again is easy apart from the stand - the instructions are very hard to navigate. If you use the Apple Ecosystem then airplay is covered is well. The remote control does not take batteries, only usb-c charging or solar, but I’m cool with that it’s hardly a dealbreaker. All in all you can’t get better for the price. I usually buy Samsung TV’s but I wanted to give a cheaper brand a shot. No regrets on that front. If you don’t care about having a premium name on a tv I’d recommend HISENSE 100% but I can’t speak for everyone. I took out 3 year’s insurance as well, I wasn’t in when the tv was delivered but my wife took it, it did say that setting up the tv was included but this didn’t happen - they just left it in the hall which was a bit weird but in the end I don’t really care but if the insurance provides the free installation we did not get it.
