Clans Of Scotland Pure New Wool Scottish Tartan Scarf

I purchased this for my mother, unfortunately she has Dementia and I wanted to bring back a memory, as her second name happens to be "Grant" and her mother (my grandmother) when she was alive used to talk about the "Clan" it seemed like the right thing to do - it worked its magic :)Mum remembered past History, and we had a long chat about her Mothers side of the family and Clan History - I had printed some out for her.Well made, quick delivery and not only does it keep Mum Warm, but she can use it as a talking point - thanksyou.

Excellent Quality very comfortable to wear.I am wearing it now inside my home as its that cold here.Its not bulky you can wear inside a jacket or coat.These are great gifts as they have the history of the Scotish Clans on the back of the carded packing.60" or 152 cms long not counting the fringe good length for me at 5.6" tallMade from 100% Lambs wool. I would be so pleased to know that it wasn't made in China as I see no made in................... anywhere on the scarf or the packing.

Absolutely love these scarves. Soft quality wool, beautiful vibrant colours, great length and so warm. A smart useful accessory for any outfit. A classic look that will never go out of style. I bought Buchanan which has gorgeous dark green, warm yellow and bright red and MacQueen which is a rich vibrant red. What a great price, I may purchase more for xmas presents.

The scarf I received was a dull imitation of the modern bright MacPherson tartan shown. It is more akin to the old red MacPherson but much more sombre than that. The blue is black and the green very dark. It is very poor quality and hard and scratchy on the skin. As a proud MacPherson I think I won't be wearing it at a gathering anytime soon. Complete waste of money. Annoying to read all the rave reviews too.

This time the company sent the wrong color. I selected the "dress" version and received the simple grey. I must admit, I liked it so much anyway, that I kept it. To be fair their oops matched my winter clothing better. And I ordered three more scarves for gifts as well, including another for myself in the original style I had wanted. Speedy delivery and it was my happy choice to keep the mistake.

I am very impressed with the quality of this product. I cannot pass further comments at this stage, because this was meant as a gift and I have not seen the recipient, as my flight was cancelled due to the pandemic.

I bought this as a gift for my father-in-law who has Cornish routes. I wasn't sure if he would like it, but it turned out that he absolutely loved it and wore it all through winter! An unusual and thoughtful gift which recognises and celebrates someone's heritage. Well made.

Gift for my dad, he loves it! Beautiful quality and the colours are very nice. It's warm and cosy and has a bit of history on the back of the packaging about the actual tartan clan which is a nice touch.
