$40 NO BRAINER
Unbelievable welder for $40!!! Decent 110v stick welding is hard for companies to get down in welders many times the price.Obviously you gotta have it on its own circut preferably 20amp breaker if possible, but it can 3/32 rods better than I expected.***Pro tip if you wanna get 3/32 7018 rods burning, plug the ground into the positive terminal, and stinger in the negative. A lil push pull start n right around 233 on the dial was my sweet spot. But experiment with yours before you give up. Those china rods it comes with can light at almost any setting n come out real pretty.

Tiny but mighty
Really impressed with the power out of this tiny little thing. It was way smaller than expected. And put down a nice weld. Now it’s no match for my Miller dialarc 250. But I can’t drag a 350lb 220/440 v welding machine around everywhere. So this little machine will definitely get used a lot. And for size reference the 2x4 next to it is 7.5” long.

Awesome
First off, I grew up welding with Miller and Lincoln stick welders to build trailers, and make repairs on the farm, but not by trade and I am by no means a professional welder. I dont use a welder enough to justify today’s prices on a decent engine drive welder for in the field, but wanted a small welder to pack along on my farm service truck that has a 4000 watt 120V generator to run power tools and an air compressor. I tried this thing out with some 3/32 6013 to weld up a crack in an old brush hog deck and it performed flawlessly and made a strong weld. Striking g an arc was much easier than I expected with an 120V welder. The only cons I can think of is that the amp reading is double what the actual output is, and the welding mask is a joke that stayed in the box. Overall a nice welder that will work perfectly to make field repairs if needed.

Bad welds, low quality, still functional though
There are many things with this product that could have been better. It's design is lightweight and portable. You can take it almost anywhere and use it for various close quarters welding spaces. I used it to weld my exhaust system under my car. Here's were the three stars come into play. The quality overall is lacking. I had to replace the ground clamp within a week due to its falling off completely. I've welded many things in my time and never had I had to struggle to get a decent weld. while it will do some extremely low quality in a pinch type of welds. It's certainly not my main choice in welding equipment. It was low cost and got the job sort of done.
