My Garmin strap stopped working & Figured out it was the strap that failed the transmitter still worked 🤙

I got this as a backup strap for my H9 monitor. It works just like the name brand strap that I have, but it is maybe 1" shorter than the original. Not a factor for me, since I use it at almost its smallest length. But if you are using the Polar strap at near its maximum length, this might be a little short for you. Otherwise, it's a good value spare strap.

This strap has worked just fine as a comfortable and easy to clasp replacement for another generic strap that I have been using on a Polar H10 heart rate monitor. The strap is a consumable, and depending on the frequency of use, it will start to wear out and may get less reliable readings after 1-2 or more years of use. I am pretty hard on my straps and rarely wash/wet them down after use until they start to smell a little bit, and then I run them through a load of laundry. Despite this, they usually last more than a year, and I have similar expectations for this strap. The price is right (way more economical than buying a new Garmin HRM with the attached strap every 1-2 years at a cost >$100 when the strap wears out but the pod hasn't) and it creates less e-waste.Although this review is posted after about a month of use, I will follow-up if I notice any issues with it wearing more quickly than expected. So far, I would not hesitate to purchase again if the price remains in the $10-15 range.

All straps for the H10 will last you one to three years, depending on how often you use it and how much you sweat. Unfortunately, the OEM straps are ridiculously expensive.I was having an issue with readings all of a sudden on my previous strap, so I got this as a replacement. Although it is a tad tight to snap the sensor on and off, the readings are spot on. For the price, this product does the trick at a great price. Recommend.

This is a traditional around the chest heart rate monitor belt. It can be adjusted to a large variety of chest sizes, is quite elastic and stretches well, and has large electrode contact pads. This is a replacement belt only and does not include the actual HRM hardware. The snap sockets are spaced two inches apart on center. It appears to be well made and works well. My only issue is that the snap sockets are extremely stiff and a great deal of effort is required to mount the monitor. They’re so stiff, in fact, that I was a little concerned I might damage the HRM. However, I have been able to mount and remove it multiple times without damaging the device. It really shouldn’t be that tough to mount, though.
