Great Anniversary Gift 🎁
This project was quite enjoyable! I ordered this as an anniversary gift, and she loved it! Simply download the app, upload or take a pic, then the app will generate build plans. It took us a few tries to find an image that was distinguishable to two people. I think it'll probably work best on images that are closer to the subject's face, given the "pixelated" style of the kit. However, after finally choosing a picture, it was fun and quite simple to build this together. We're now thinking about getting it professionally framed, before placing it on our wall to fully commemorate the experience 😊 .

Fun and creative activity
It took a minute for me to take this off the shelf and decide what picture to use. My youngest child and I decided to make a picture of Cinnamoroll for my other daughter’s birthday. I have never constructed something like this before so I was excited to see how it would turn out.If you have no idea how this works, I’ll try to explain. You find a picture and upload it to the QBrix website using a code that comes in the box. The website takes the picture and turns it into pixels that correspond with each tiny building block. You then print out the picture in 4 quadrants with the assigned color codes for each building block. You make sure you are working on the correct quadrant and start adding pieces based on the color codes! It probably took us close to 4-5 hours to finish this picture. Once completed, the block base can be pushed into a cheap cardboard frame to make it look “finished”.Pros: This was a fun activity and I like that you can use it over and over again. The size is large enough to make a cool picture with detail. The pieces fit on well and are not easy to remove.Cons: I don’t know that I would WANT to take this apart and organize the blocks again. The pieces are so small it hurts your fingers after a while. The frame could be better quality.Overall, I am glad I got this and it really is a fun, unique activity for anyone with some patience and motivation to see how it will turn out.

such a cool idea!
This might be one of the coolest gift ideas I've ever seen. The fact that it can be used and reused is even better. It's a great gift for the kid at heart. LOVE IT!

Hardest part is deciding which photo to use
Custom Selfie Mosaic Building Set | Art Kit for Wall Art Creation from Any Photo Is a very nice kit. Easy to understand instructions. Lots of bricks.I have seen similar mosaic building sets costing big bucks. I always wanted to try and when I saw this I knew this was the one to order. One I love retro and chose retrowave kit. I have three grandchildren and want to do one of each to hang up in my hallway. I am getting closer to deciding on the photo to use because once done I want to keep it forever. This kit would make a great gift for someone to build themselves or you make the kit and give them a finished photo !! 5 ⭐️ all the way !

Paywalled Lego
This is in my mind a really cool idea, but it has a feature that I cannot in good conscious rate highly. I opened it up to check it out then set it aside for a few days. Came back to it and wanted to try it out proper, only to find that to get the brick blueprint from the website, you need to enter a code that came in the packaging. Ludicrous. The customer has already bought the thing, and it's rendered useless if you lose that code? I found mine fortunately, but I could have just as easily chucked it, rendering the product worthless. Do they think there's going to be some radical used market for this? You know what, I've tried to play devil's advocate as to why they'd do this, but it's irrelevant because the fact is I hate it, it rubs me the wrong way and there isn't a 'reason' that would change that. Two stars instead of one because it's a novel idea and the bricks and board and stuff are well made. But don't accept nonsense like this. Accepting it from video games and tv is why we now have it in off-brand Lego. If you accept it in off-brand Lego five years from now you'll need to get a six digit code texted to you to release a lock on your gallon of milk
