These were a gift to my little girl. She loves them. They work well and are helping her learn cardinal directions and how to navigate using them. They seem accurate and reliable. They are lightweight and easy to use.

These retro compasses are seriously cool! The outside is like an antique pocket watch from the 19th century, and it comes with a (plastic) chain and clip on the end so you can hang it either from your pocket, or anywhere really, so you can decorate yourself or actually functionally use it. I'm not sure how accurate the compass is as it seems to change directions while staying still, but visually, decoratively, it is pretty and so stylish. The chain feels kind of cheap but the compass itself is heavier than it looks, very sturdy, and easy to wipe down and clicks shut when not in use. I love the look, but I wish the chain didn't feel like it'll break at any moment! It's a great gift and has a lot of texture and detail and it's just a great addition to any outfit, even if you don't use the compass portion.

Our kids had fun with these Tebery 2 Pack Antique Finish Pocket Compasses on a recent camping trip. The 2 pack price of $13.49 makes it easier to give kids a chance to experiment with realistic compasses, because our kids would not want toy ones – they want to experience the real deal. They seemed to be pretty accurate, but can struggle if you’re not holding them level. They snap open and shut easily and the metal is pretty durable. I’m thankful that the chains are removable, especially when they’re turned into swinging helicopters – but they did endure even that rough play. The designs and finish are very attractive. Good quality for such a low price.
