Great price, works great
Great price, works great. The remote that came with the receiver NEVER worked properly. The one button that didn't work was volume control. All buttons work on this replacement remote. It's nice to know that there is an option for replacing remotes for electronics.

Is Not Fully Functional
The original version of this remote, i.e., the one that came with the receiver, had the ability to control other devices, such as a TV, DVD, etc. This attempt to copy that remote does not do that. (I tried another attempted copy which had the same problem.) Sadly, this vital information was left out of the advertisement. I’ll keep it, because it does control the volume, which my original no longer does, but I’m not happy that it’s not all it’s advertised to be.

Not a perfect replacement for VSX-819H-K Remote
This remote is NOT a direct replacement of the VSX-819H-K remote. The buttons are reassigned slightly BUT it can and does work. The biggest problem I had was that it is a little difficult to control assigned components, particularly, the TV with this replacement compared to the original.All that being said, if this is your only option, you can make it work...BUT a piece of advice for those that want their old remote back: If all that is damaged on your old remote is the keypad (i.e. button presses not working or buttons tore off), you can open up both remote controls and swap the silicone keypad and have your old remote working perfectly again. Don't forget to clean the circuit board with a little alcohol and allow to dry. This was the best option for me as I was kind of partial to the original functionality.All in all, a good purchase... if it isn't the original equipment manufacturer, it is just as good if not better.
