Q: Is this fan weather resistant? I need one that an hold up to being munted under a porch awning.

I use my fan in my garage. I am located in Southeast Georgia, and relative humidity is always very high. I have not had any problems with its operation or with it rusting. I am glad I bought this fan, and I think you will be happy with the performance and the esthetics. I would recommend it for under a porch awning.

No it's not oscillating, but u can easily turn it in any direction u want very easily with one hand.

Q: Does the pivot point have a way to adjust for angle of fan?

Yea, fan base rotates and it tilts on the pivot. You can point the fan anywhere.

Q: is it a plug into a wall socket

Yes. Three way prong plug in. We bought 2 for back patio, and they're great.
