Does exactly what you need
I bought this for my sons ASUS ROG. Works good at charging and adding a 2T memory card for additional gaming and emulation. He seems happy and hasn’t complained once, so I’d say it’s worth the purchase

C Male connector TOO small on OD.
First of all this is a great concept but.....1. C MALE connector is way too small to fit inside of female port any kind of movement of the Ally during gaming it's on the floor.2. Can't use a protective case with your Alley and this at the same time. Will bend the male port if you try it.3. Does not charge your device like it needs to be if connected while gaming. This could be great but simple does not do the job as stated in the description. I added a round nano tape to secure this to my device and actually had to cut my new protective Ally case to make this work. Now this has become a pain due to the fact it does not fit into my Asus Hard Carrying case or soft case now. This is a catch 22 as O had to mod things to get this to work but risk the chance also of damaging my Mighty Skin pulling this thing off after every gaming session. Totally not worth the headache or the price for something that has to make you modify other components to get this to stay put.

Needs to be on 25w or lower
So cool concept great fit and nice extra ports but does not keep my device charged i loose battery life while plugged in so not a really good product. If it's on 30w charging but drop it to 25w charging and works great.

You will get your 30w and perfect fit. ROG ALLY WHITE
Don’t buy anything else, this fits perfectly and you get your 30 watts and it doesn’t interfere with anything else is perfect

Doesn’t charge if so barely
The first one died and was replaced under warranty. The second one will charge devices but only at such a low charge rate that I cannot use it while doing anything with power. It works as a usb hub though

Don't waste your money
The item is really poor quality. Doesn't fit tightly to the ROG Ally so it's loose and easily comes disconnected. Also, frequently the power doesn't transfer to the Ally so the USB ports will work but I can't also charge the device at the same time. Unfortunately this is not a product I would recommend.

Great on the ROG ally
I like having the charger face down and the ability to plug in 2 USB plugs while charging, I stuck a little piece of double sided tape on the back of it before I put it on so it just stays on my ally and that also helps to preserve the single USBC pot on my ally from getting damaged from ripped out cords

Necessary to Safely Use Extra Storage While Portrable
This thing was a necessity to avoid the heat damage a launch version RoG Ally can do to MicroSDs. It allows for extended storage/accessory solutions while maintaining portability. I've switched from MicroSD to USB 3.1 flash drive as my secondary storage volume, and have not encountered any reliability issues. As I did with my MicroSD card (before it got damaged from the Ally's heat) I mainly use it for GoG Galaxy and Itch.io and general media. I still use the main drive for Steam/Xbox gaming, but this has allowed me more flexibility. My only gripe is that the Type-C connection can come unseated relatively easily if you're attaching new devices to the available ports (wired controllers, usb drive, charging cable), but I believe that's more to prevent damaging the primary Type-C port of the RoG Ally itself. I could secure it directly to the backside of the RoG Ally with double-sided tape/glue, but it would hinder/prevent dock functionality.Worth my money.
