I’ve used this fabric in my diy camper build. I lived and traveled in my build for a year and the fabric held up nicely! The price is good and it worked really well for my diy no sew cushions. The fabric is pretty nice and waterproof. It’s lightweight and I think it’s great for indoor and outdoor diy projects.

I never write reviews but after reading the bad, I must address complaints... #1 ... polyester is plastic and petroleum ..YES it is , so it will feel kind of like plastic and smell like chemical Because that is what it is .#2.... The description does not say it is fade proof , rather water resistant .#3.. Although I have never been short , it is possible . I use it to line water bags for my business. I have not had a problem with it I have ordered multiple times. I work with fiber everyday, it is my job. And ,I have looked at and worked with water resistant fabrics for a long time . If you want a higher end, fade resistant , water resistant fabric then you will pay $22 a yard and up. Sunbrella is a great example , and IMO, not worth the extra cost . If you are conserved about fading , maybe this is the wrong choice for you , but if you are looking for a basic water resistant everyday , inexpensive , this could be the right choice.

I made a topper for my new clothes washer and dryer so that they would not get scratched from laying object on top of them. The fabric is water proof which I wanted to lay out wet clothing to dry if I needed to - which I do with almost every wash. I also lined mine with a layer of batting to give it some cushioning. The fabric is a bit stiff but still thin enough to sew with my regular sewing machine but the stiffness gives it a wrinkle free effect. This fabric is exactly what I was looking for when I found it on Amazon. It did take longer to be delivered than most Amazon packages but I wasn't in any hurry so it didn't really matter. I would recommend this fabric for any such water proof need and it comes in many colors to pick from.

Nice material used for a few things

Material comes folded in a plastic pouch 9 1/2" x 11 1/2". Therefore it has many creases. They are still there after washing and machine drying. Ironing removes the obvious creases however there is a lighter sheen to the material right at the edges of the creases which you can't remove. Don't get this material if you need a good clean unmarked finish. Also, the material is hard, stiff, and has no stretch, actually a lot like a brown paper grocery bag, in thickness too. These problems don't matter much in my application. I bought this gray and a yellow material and both have these same undesirable material properties.

Selection, payment and delivery were seamless. The material is burnt orange in color, and waterproof and works (for our purposes) as intended.

The fabric wax as described. Un fortunately my plans to use it as upholstery didn't work because it didn't form well for fully upholstery dinning room chairs. Not giving to the form of the chair.
