The handles arrived a lot faster then expected, and we're super easy to fit onto my chair. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user, but some of the English curbs are difficult even for the most experienced. They're a perfect height!

Got this to put on my dad's wheelchair. I'm 6'4" & my brother is 6'6" & pushing the chair around to various appointments was a major strain on both of our backs. Worth every penny, especially saving chiropractor trips. It adds about 5 inches or so directly above the other handles - i didn't think it would be enough but it is. Personally I'd like maybe another inch or two, but it isn't really needed to walk normally. If you are really really tall (over 7') you could certainly get 2 kits and mount one on top of the other, no problem. Installed very easily with no tools. Just a couple clips to go around the vertical part of the existing built-in handles, with push levers to clamp it in place. After a couple months of driving it and putting the chair into our cars a few dozen times we haven't had to redo anything. Easy enough that we could adjust it, but i made it tight enough that my dad can't mess with it during his dementia moments of curiosity / mucking with stuff. I don't think you need it nearly that tight for less mischievous loved ones... but you can. They handles can still rotate a little bit if you bump it harder, kind if like handlebars on a bike, but this isn't a constant issue or anything. Staff don't seem to mind that they are in all the time, they can still use the normal bars, and it helps prevent mixups for whose chair is whose for sure. I would also say that you could install these upside down if you needed to lower the handles - I'm not sure about ideas for seeing around the chair, but the handles part would at least be covered.
