Brilliant set!!!
After reading the reviews on here about the awful cardstock of the cards, I was in two minds whether to go ahead with purchasing. I’m so glad I did!! I am a collector of Tarot and Oracle collector and cardstock is extremely important to me. This deck although not the best cardstock I’ve ever seen is really not that bad! I don’t know whether they have changed it recently but mine is laminated and certainly not too thin. I seen far worse mass media decks out there. So if cardstock is what’s stopping you, just bite the biscuit and buy it :)

Profound guidance but very poor card quality
Book excellent, box good and that would get 5 stars BUT as others have said the cards are such poor and thin quality and as a result the art work is not brilliant either. Shame as this really lets down Jamie Sams efforts. The 'applications' for each card as she calls them could easily be printed on the back of the cards and be really helpful. The stories that go with them are lovely but you don't always need that detail and it is the applications that are the guidance needed.I don't see the cards standing up to a lot of use either personally or professionally. I took the risk in buying them, glad I did as they are profound but saddened that an author allows her work to be presented so poorly.Others have suggested lamination, this would mean the cards wouldn't fit in their packet or the box, anda lot of fiddly effort for not much gain.

These cards are brilliant and the explanation book is absolutely great
These cards are brilliant and the explanation book is absolutely great. I had a set a few years ago and found them really helpful. The problem is the quality of the cards themselves. The original set I had was printed on perfectly acceptable thickish card but I can't even begin to describe how thin and flimsy the card is on which these are printed and it ruins the whole set as of course the cards are meant to be shuffled and handled. These are so thin, you can barely shuffle them. The book retains its good quality hard back and the whole thing is presented in a good quality box. I want to say to the company who manufacture these, if you had to make an economy, the book or the box would have been a better place to start.Quality issues aside, this pack is highly recommended.

Would be 5 stars except for ...
The guidance is superb, I love it. Jamie Sams work is brilliant as always. Only one problem, the cards are made of very thin card and would easily be bent or torn if not handled with great care. Attention has been put into designing a box that holds the book and cards together but at the expense of the thickness of the cards. I would suggest rethinking the packaging :-)

Super thin cards that are impossible to use...waste of money
Beautiful cards and the book, but seriously? How can anyone expect us to shuffle those cards? They are so thin and impossible to use. They print them in China to save money, but for the price we have to pay for them, I believe we deserve the cards we can actually use. Don't waste your money on these cards. If you really want to have them, download photos of the each card on your computer and print them out. The quality will be the same or even better if you use better paper at home. This is disgrace!

I owned a set of these cards some years ago and the paper stock was thick and sturdy. Now they are making them with ultra paper
It's a real shame that profit has won out over quality once again. I owned a set of these cards some years ago and the paper stock was thick and sturdy. Now they are making them with ultra paper thin unbelievable poor quality stock. I mean there is only a book and the cards so you think they would make an effort to please the customer but I guess not. For a spiritual development product it boggles the mind...
