Great little kitchen composter - perfect for our family of 2
After spending considerable time researching and comparing a wide range of composters, this unit checks all the boxes for us.- Size wise, it proved to be a once or twice a week task. Nice thing is that operation isn't really noticeable - both in the absence noise and smell.- All that is heard is very faint background sound from the rotating parts. The biggest noise is when it encounters an Avocado pit or two, but it cracks them, progressively pulverizes and then bakes the pits down along with everything else into a course grain powder.- A complete cycle notably doesn't as long as other units are reporting to complete a load - but of course a variable here is what is the volume and moisture content of each load. Mine have a fair amount of fruit and vegetable trimmings, just brewed coffee grounds, with occasional dry matter - so I start-off pretty moist, but if I start in the morning it's done in the afternoon - none of the overnight grinding away as lamentably reported by other reviewers who use competing composters.- The one weakness I noted is that the wire handle for the bucket can't be trusted - I had it pop-out and it tested my reflexes to catch it before it fell to the floor. So, I'd recommend only using the handle to extract the grinding bucket from the machine and then put a hand under it to carry it to be emptied and return it to it's place.- So, reasonable price, easy to operate, good size, quite operation, no smell, and a "window top" that let's you monitor progress.- This window benefits me because I sometimes start-off with Banana Peals and Avocado skins and other initially bulky items that soon mash down and allow for more to be added. When I see there is now room I simply pause, open the Lid, add more items, close Lid and resume. Sits on the floor over by the trash can next to a power plug it takes-up little room. We accumulate "a load" into a large kitchen bowl with a snap-on Lid and then load that into the composter once we've got enough to make running the composter worth-while. Great little unit

Works for me
No smell and quick drying. I love this. After this, no fruit flies coming.

Just got this Composter
This arrived a day early. I just got the composter and have done two runs, both needing two cycles to get what I would consider done. The cycles should be closer to 12 hours, not 6 hours, which is what the "Auto" setting seems to run. I have yet to have it long enough to access durability.

I juice mainly with lemons and limes. After reading directions it was not advisable to put in the rinds

Operating the machine is very easy, and the entire process of handling waste is very clean.
When I saw someone using this machine to handle waste in a video, I thought about buying one to try it out. It turned out that I really liked it because the daily kitchen waste was promptly taken care of, and it even produced organic fertilizer that could be used for growing vegetables. Also, Operating the machine is very easy, and the entire process of handling waste is immaculate. This is exactly what I wanted.
