Useful epoxy repair putty
This is a bit like plasticine or putty in texture and consistency. I got two small bags, one white, one black. You remove a small but equal amount of each to suit your repair and then thoroughly mix them together. I mixed them using my figures but you could do it by mashing them together with the spatula provided. My mix of colours resulted in a black ball of putty-like material with a slightly sticky outer surface. I placed this where I wanted it on a small hard plastic component that had a tag that had broken off and I roughly shaped the material to the correct shape and also ensured I had pressed it well onto the rest of the plastic component. I had cleaned and scraped the component beforehand to ensure a rough clean contact area. The putty stays workable for a long time. At least an hour. It stays soft for at least 12 hours after that but gradually gets harder until after 24hrs it is more like stone. I have a small craft grinder and I carefully improved the shape for the blob, to replicate the tag that had broken off. This successfully fixed the £45 component so I am very pleased. I can see that the material would work well as strong filler or in a variety of other uses and is a good product to add to my collection of glues and tapes that I use to repair things.I am a little surprised because in my experience hard plastic components are very difficult to glue or repair but this does appear to have done the job. Reminds me of 'quiksteel'.This appears to be reasonable value for money and cheaper than similar alternatives. You can get faster setting epoxy and if you were in a hurry then that might suit your better. I have found though that some of the fast setting ones are a bit challenging to use and I preferred this because it gave me time to think and apply it precisely and carefully and I was not in a particular hurry.Very useful product.

Easier to work with that liquid glues
When one of our favourite garden ornament broke (dratted foxes!), I tried to fix it with liquid epoxy, but this did not withstand the effects of the weather. The next repair I tried the superglue + baking powder hack, which did last quite well, but still succumbed to the elements. My third attempt used this epoxy putty which is so much easier to use thanks to being malleable and sandable, making for a much neater, professional looking repair.✓ Easy to Use: The epoxy putty is easy to mix, apply, and shape, making it a convenient solution for a multitude of DIY jobs.✓ Very good results: The putty provides great results, forming a hard surface that can be sanded and painted.✓ Versatile: The putty can be used on a wide selection of surfaces, including metal, plastic, wood, aggregate, plaster, MDF/HDF, etc.✓ Good Value: The product is good value for money, not least because it's so simple to mix the right amount, thereby eliminating waste.✓ Malleable: The putty is highly malleable, allowing it to be shaped and moulded into the required form, pushed into cracks, etc. dditionally, being a putty, it doesn't run or drip.✗ The plastic in which each part of the putty is wrapped, cannot be resealed, so ensuring longevity of the unused parts is difficult to ensure. (Overcautious, I wrapped the remainder in cling film, then foil, and finally in a sandwich bag from which the air was sucked!)✗ Instructions could be clearer.

Brilliant stuff - easy to work with and does a great job.
I have been using epoxy putty products for some years now, mostly on ceramics but also on any number of other DIY jobs around the house. My previous experience has been hugely positive and so I was keen to see how one this compared. In the box there are two packets containing the respective parts, A and B, of the glue; a couple of plastic gloves and a mixing spatula. To be honest I discarded the gloves and spatula as I found they just made it more awkward to work with. As with the other versions I have used I found it much easier just to use my hands for every stage in the process; from getting two equally sized pieces to mixing and finally, to applying it. Your hands will get dirty, especially using the black putty, but it washes off easily enough. In any case I find the heat from your hands helps the mixing process and there is no way I could shape the putty wearing gloves.Since I had black putty to work with I had to find something to try it out on. Then I realised my garage door, which is painted black, had some places needing repair. It is an old, metal door with a few holes in it so I mixed up and applied the putty to one particular location. The putty is very malleable and can be moulded into any shape. It is also self supporting so you don't have to worry about it slipping or changing shape during the curing process. I found that having my hands wet allowed me to work the putty better. You can get it very smooth thus reducing the need for sanding once cured.Once cured it is rock hard. Over the years I have learned that reducing the amount of sanding you have to do is a good thing as it dries so hard it can take ages to sand down and you also risk damaging the surrounding area. The final result from this putty was excellent and I am delighted with the way it performed. The rest of the garge door will be getting the same treatment. At only £8.99 it it good value given that a little goes a long way and it does such an excellent repair. I highly recommend it.
