The quality of the shade does look very cheap to be honest. The actual light inside does not have a proper holder which isn’t great, the gold is yellow gold not brass gold fyi

Even though the shades of light can be changed, they just aren’t bright enough, when switching to maximum brightness. Shame really.

These bring a touch of elegance and the battery life is good as well.remote can clash with similar lights but it’s easily sorted.There are various incarnations of this type of light around stick with these ….. others don’t come with lights ( extra £20) or are described as self sticking when they are screw.These particular ones are great.

Purchased these lights as did not want to have to worry about wiring, they are fantastic, the quality is brilliant, the rechargeable bulbs are very good and very easy to take out and put in. I would absolutely recommend this product.

These are a clever idea for places you want a nice looking light but can't or don't want to chase 240V cables into your plasterwork for the supply. In fact, the basic units are clearly designed as normal mains powered wall lights - there's a sticker warning about voltages/max wattages there which is clearly redundant in this iteration - but the manufacturer has instead supplied a magnetic base which screws in where the bulb would go, onto which you plonk what is basically a completely autonomous puck light of the type you might otherwise put under a kitchen counter.The whole thing works and the puck comes with full RGB and dimmable flexibility. The only negative, which you can see in some of the photos on the sales page but not on others, is that the puck gives out the bulk of its light upwards and sideways, not downwards; the lampshade is not fully illuminated, as you would get with a globe bulb, but essentially lit from half way up. That's not to say that no light goes downwards, it's just that most goes upwards.If that really bothered you, you could buy any one of the several globe-style ES screw rechargeable light bulbs available on Amazon and swap the whole magnetic base/puck light assembly for that.The two pucks are controllable via remote controls; two are supplied, which seems odd to me because you can't individually control the pucks, if you want each to be different (eg colour wise) you'll have to shield them from the controller in turn as you set them up. Odd oversight, I think, but heigh ho, not a killer.So, if you really want some wall lights without having to do more than put four screws in a wall, these are probably right up your street.
