What’s the difference btwn the modern chair and the Antique chair?

It looks different at the bottom. The antique has silver with wheels and the modern is black with wheels.

The lowest level is still high for short people like me, is there a way we lower the baseline?

What if you are over 275 lbs? Can it still hold up

It will Hold but how long can't tell. Mostly is may need to replace cylinder if not holding chair up.

Is it possible to get the chair without wheels

Not really—you could skip putting the legs on and just use the stand, but idk how well it’ll hold up/what that does to the integrity of the chair. A better option might be to get the rubber stopper things that go under wheels (like they make for bedframes that have wheels on the legs) so that it doesn’t roll around
