Purchase this for my dad‘s fiancé who lives in a nursing home, ambulates via wheelchair and continually lost her lip balm… People forgetthe fact that the older we get the less dexterity we have and the memory of placement of items and easy accessibility to said items when our mobility suffers… While the nursing home she lives in in this particular state does provide said product for the patient, they would run out of stock due to continually supplying the lost item and not helping that resident find a way to keep it from being lost or easily accessible when needed for use…so with some creative thinking, finding the right product (zip stick) and redneck engineering (to her wheelchair arm rest)…Viola!!!The perfect solution for this particular person! She is alert and oriented enough that once affixed to the arm of her wheelchair with the lip balm portion retracting / dangling toward the inside of the chair, not the outside, it was easily able & after a few times of showing her how to use it and creating that muscle memory to reach for it and use it —it would stay on her chair Instead of trying to place it in a pocket that would get missed or sitting it in the seat where it’d be sat on or it get lost when transferring to the bathroom, etc. etc. —it is the first time she has been able to keep track of a single stick and is no longer suffering from chapped lips by not having one readily available!!!Superb idea for senior citizens, some disabled, or just anyone tired of misplacing their sticks!I bought one for me too and used to always keep mine in my front pants pocket and then just about every room and including my car and it seems like now that I’ve gotten one on this retractable clip. I don’t need the ones placed all around near as much After I reach for it zips right back to where it belongs and I always keep it hung in a rather central spot which happens to be where I place my car keys (on/with) my car keys (it works for me!)…I’m using voice to text and tried to catch some typos, but this phone I’m using is awful about proper grammar and proper punctuation and changing words to weird things that I can’t believe a human would even say.I hope this review helps.
